  1. Just off Indy..last day before disembark noticed a $10 charge on my final invoice that I did not recognise. Guest services advised me it was for two bottles of Evian left in stateroom. I had previous experience of this on a previous sailing and even though I had a deluxe drinks package I knew to leave that bottled water alone. It was still there in the room when I made my complaint and I offered to bring it down to them just to prove it had not been touched ! They waived the offer aside and cancelled the $10 charge. Now the question is, who told them that the water had been used, was it the room attendant? I doubt it very much therefore is there a conclusion easily drawn from this particularly so as it seems that I am not the only one to experience this "error"?
  2. They continue to deliberate over as to whether or not to allow me to upgrade to a suite from a balcony after final payment. Unbelievable I think !.......I am sure it must be something to do with being a U.K. resident.
  3. Yesterday I wanted to upgrade to a suite on a May Sailing from the UK and was quite happy to pay the GBP £700 additional cost and loose the "all inclusive" package that I had as part of a previous offer. However, as I had already made the final payment RC advised me that it was in my best interest to stick with what I had already booked, a balcony cabin. It seems the original booking would need cancelling and in those circumstances I would be out of pocket. ..They are not always willing to take your offer to pay more or is it a different set of circumstances if you are a UK resident? This is their response.... "Having checked this my best advice is to leave this option as is hence the final date was on the 16 march 2017 for any major changes. If we went ahead to upgrade we would lose nearly half of the cruise "
  4. Robert Browning...."Oh to be in England now that Spring is here" Not so for Royal Carribean bookings and the full refund up to cancellation in the event of change.
  5. Bermuda Triangle by Charles Berlitz?.......on second thoughts, maybe not.
  6. I never did make it to the library on Navigator recently but then I had my kindle and some audio books too so there was never really an urgent need. However discussing books to read with one of the other passengers on deck one of the days he was telling me that the library was predominantly for people playing scrabble and other board games too and further that the selection of books was pretty poor anyway with some books not in the English language. There may well be a time on another cruise when I am out of reading material and want to find something good to read. Has anyone found the libraries on board worth visiting assuming you are not a fan of scrabble that is or are the books there only those that other cruisers choose to leave behind?
  7. On Navigator September last they wrote down your cabin number when you collected your towels and again when you returned them. Would they marry the two entries up at the end of the day to see who has or who has not handed them back? I doubt it. However, having said that why then put the guy with the clip board there anyway?
