We had a new experience recently.  A group of 5 families booked 6 staterooms for a July 29, 2023.  We are all linked.  5 staterooms already have assignments and all are very near each other 

Reaching Diamond was a game changer for us.  We always purchased the DBP but didn't on our last cruise.  Still had to purchase a few drinks a day, most days, between my wife and I.  We saved several hundred dollars on not purchasing the drink package because of the Diamond drinks.

Do you need another person to say buy it now? Buy it now! 67.99 is a good price to start with - I've cancelled and repurchased it and a few other things on my next cruise (and my last). I regret not getting the UDP on my last price when I first saw it because it never got anywhere close to that price again over a 6 month period. Have a great cruise!

I was just looking for an answer to this question and you beat me to creating the post.  if I can add, is there any with free parking or free shuttle to the port?

I was slowly accumulating stock (10 per quarter), when it crashed over the summer I bought enough to get me to 100. My excuse now is the more the we cruise, the more money RCL makes, the more the stock price will go up 🙂

Blame that on the Uber driver as there is more then one way into the port that does not include the tunnel (the drivers app would show the traffic pattern). We went out of Miami last week (Friday traffic) and left our house in Fort Lauderdale at 10:30am and I was drinking a Red Stripe on the pool deck by 11:15am.

The only thing about the island to be aware of......the birds.  Do NOT leave food unattended.  They will swoop in (numerous birds at a time) to take your food.....even when you are eating you may have to shoo them away.

We turned Diamond during our British Isles trip 8/19-8/31 on the Jewel.  I just looked and it is posted and official.  Now I have to wait 409 days until my next cruise!

Yes you are correct.  (2) 50% off coupons per Diamond member for beer or wine.  And good advice on saving the voucher for a pricer option.  I'm more of a beer drinker and my wife more of a cocktail drinker so I made sure free Diamond drinks went to cocktails.  All you have to do is tell the bartender when to apply the 50% coupons.  

Jiffy Jeff Transportation. There are great. Took our group of 6 to Miami, and then back to FLL for our cruise , and then picked us up after the cruise., no issues, communication was great, would def use them again.

We have done Mr. Sanchos a few times.  Always enjoyed it. 

During the pandemic, another lesser known perk for Diamond was an invitation to the top tier event with free champagne and mimosas.   Now that the pandemic restrictions are being lifted, I think this perk is open to some of the lower levels again.   But.....free champagne!!!!

I'm thinking we will be doing the same thing for the same reason with flying into FLL.  Definitely will check out QLS!  Thanks
