I just did disembark in Boston. As stated above, it is not a "regular" cruise terminal. It will take a bit longer for the FLOW to work it's way off the ship. 9-10 should be about right. The problem is out on the street serving the terminal, very narrow and people getting off mixing with people getting on. Taxis, vans, transfers from hotels, etc......quite a line

9:30-10 is a good estimate as stated above. Boston isn't a regular, year-round cruise port, so things can move a bit slower here. It also depends on whether you hurt Maine going or returning as that has immigration and customs implications. It is also wise to use a porter here as taxi lines can be long. If also plan on 30-40 minutes to get to the airport just in case there's traffic; however, it's always been more of a hassle to get to the cruise, in my experience, than to get to the airport.

Agreeing with above - 9:30 or 10 is probably the furthest you could push that and still have a nice slow morning. We did this on Enchantment.. do recommend.

I strongly considered handcuffing myself to the ship and yelling, "I'M NEVER LEAVING!" ... I don't recommend this. (** Do not take KLA's advice. It's bad)

I've never sailed out of Boston, but generally speaking they want to clear the ship as soon as possible so that they can clear it and start allowing the next sailing's passengers onboard and spending money. :)  If you hang out, have breakfast, and are among the last people off the ship, you'll probably be off between 9:30 and 10am at the absolute latest, then off to grab your luggage and go through customs.  I'd plan on meeting someplace at 10:30am with the option of giving them a call in case there's a big line at customs.
