I hope they end up doing what Vegas did.. Just got back from there and they put plexiglass up and made it so that 5 can sit at a table. It feels like your sitting in a bank vault lol doing a transaction of some sort but it does make it easier to get a spot. They also strongly enforce masks and no smoking both things which I welcome as I Hate smoking anyway. In the summer in Vegas it was a nightmare finding a table but this time for Thanksgiving it was much easier. So maybe Royal can do it like Vegas... Also it makes me want to only go on large ships.. can you imagine the casino with small ships.. Not fun lol 

I hate to disappoint you but I personally found that the pizza on Enchantment because they don't have a dedicated space for it with a real pizza oven was not very good. It is absolutely not like Mariner's pizza. But hey tastes are subjective so maybe you will enjoy it. 

I received an email offer today for several casino comps for Alaska (May and June 2021).  I don't recall ever seeing a casino comp offer for Alaska - ever.
We booked 23 May 2021 Serenade.  We were lucky enough to snag the 2 BR Ocean View Suite (no balcony).  So looking forward to this one !!

I did try two different web browsers and that didn't help either.  I finally had to do what the other poster suggested and call their reservation number (they were open today).  It was tedious to have to give all the information over the phone to a non-English speaker but I have a reservation now.  Thanks!

This has happened to me many times. Their website is HORRIBLE. You don't need to talk to the Royal Help desk they are no help. You just need to call the regular reservation line and tell them you want to make a payment. They will take your payment over the phone and it will be done.

since its canceled you are not supposed to have to go in and manually do it.. BUT I found every time Royal canceled my cruise if I went in and manually canceled the cruise planner stuff I got my refund much quicker. So its up to you.. 

Disagree with you.. Princess canceled their around the world sailings.. Of course they did how could they control the amount of ports they were going to. That has NOTHING to do with Royal being able to operate some cruises to the Caribbean. I am not saying Royal will be able to operate fully and go everywhere but I do believe they will be able to go to the Caribbean.. And Cunard another specialty line I don't consider what they do to have any effect on what Royal does.. This article doesn't scare me at all.. I do believe at some point in 2021 Royal will be sailing the Caribbean and the Bahamas..

actually 3-5 nights is $100.. 6-9 nights is $250 a person and then 10 nights and above is $450 a person.. I never been on a 10 night but I just checked and its def $450 a person lol

So this thread is as close as I can find to my L&S news.  I'm hijackin' it.
Last week @michelle booked the Royal Suite for me on Empress (11-22-20, 6 night Western Caribbean) with the express intent of L&S'ing it to next year.  According to the website, the appropriate cruise to which to shift this would have been a 6 night Western Caribbean cruise on Odyssey.  YIPPEE !  That sounds great.  Since the appropriate shift from a RS on Empress to another ship is an Owner's Suite, I was happy with that idea.  So she called and they stone cold refused to make the shift to Odyssey even though the website showed that sailing as an appropriate "match" AND there was an Owner's Suite still available (Odyssey only has 2 OS so it was a surprise that one was still available...but it was).  Nope.  Nope.  Nope.
She tried doing the online L&S.  Nope.  They outright refused.
I was so disappointed.  I have read of so many people moving their Empress suites to Odyssey and simply could not understand why I was being denied.  If I had been there in person, they would have labeled me a "Karen" for sure.  LOL
@michelle got a call this morning from the L&S team with the bad news for a second time.  Not only would they not shift me to Odyssey, NOW they wouldn't even shift me to an Oasis cruise that had been their offer last week (this offer never made any sense.  It was a 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise which violated all of their "rules" - different number of nights, different itinerary).  Now I was steamin'.  Poor Michelle.  She is so patient.  She texted me to let me know that they were "evaluating our options". 
I was resigned that this was just not going to work out.  I asked Michelle to please just CWC and get an FCC for my deposit.  She said "okay".  Maybe 10 minutes later she texted me that they were offering to shift my Empress RS to an Allure Star Loft Suite during Thanksgiving week (6 night 11-21-21) !!  I almost dropped the phone !  So they were willing to give me a $12.5K SLS on Allure  but they couldn't see their way to giving me a $9K OS on Odyssey ?  Whatever.  I'll take Star Class every time !!!
So....   @michelle is the queen of L&S negotiations.  I don't know how she does it....but she is awesome.  I'm soooo happy !!!!!!!

Well she can gamble. Casino is open to 18 year olds on cruise ships. She can go to all the bars and nightclubs just cant drink. She can go to adult nightclub that's also 18 and older. She can obviously see all the shows and entertainment. Can go to hot tubs at night I always seem to see people her age in the hot tubs at night. I mean she really can do anything people over 21 can do except for drink. Also I don't know if she wants to hang with 17 year olds but she can always try to meet them right outside of fuel and then suggest they all just go hang out somewhere.. I don't think the teens really stay in fuel anyway I think they quickly meet there and then go in groups all around the ship..

I strongly suggest you Lift and Shift to next year.. The chances of your cruise happening at all is so small.. I was in the same situation as you. I had a family cruise booked on Allure for Dec 27 and then I lifted and shifted it to next year on Odyssey of the sea Dec 26.. I got a fab deal because I got to move to a brand new ship still during the holidays and they locked in the lower price so I can now go on Odyssey for the price of Allure

Do the lift and shift. You do not have to pay the difference that's the whole point of lift and shift it locks in the lower price.. I lifted and shifted our family New Years Cruise.. We were supposed to be on Allure of the Sea Dec 27 and I was able to lift and shift to Odyssey Dec 26 2021 for not 1 penny more. I got a fab deal as Odyssey was worth $1000 a person more!

Thank you! I WISH I lived in Florida (Still in NY ?)  and I would be ready go right away. I talked with a casino rep this weekend, and I was told everyone is holding off on the comp bookings to see when sailings resume. The floodgates will open soon.

I disagree. I Think cruising will begin again in April 2021. I think there is a reason Odyssey is delayed until April and I think its because that's when Royal really thinks cruising can start. I also think that's why the casino started sending out offers starting in April.
