AGSLC5 got a reaction from Swar in Club Royal certificates ...worthless
It could but one of the reasons I like cruising is because I like gambling and I assume most serious gamblers who are in Club Royale feel the way I do.. We feel since we spend thousands in the casino we deserve to be comped accordingly.. For me personally the main reason I cruise is so I can gamble I would never go on a cruise without a casino.. So I wouldn't want to take the 1300 and put it down on a cruise then I would be bored on the cruise because I couldn't gamble..

AGSLC5 got a reaction from rjweber3 in Royal Suite Perks on Celebrity
No problem I just wanted to make sure the OP had the right info... Also This past summer they started to implament Genie type hosts.. They even escort people to the restaurant like a Genie.. They didn't make an official name for that class of suite like Star class but they are starting to have the same perks..

AGSLC5 got a reaction from mjb1127 in Requiring Vaccine...so no Fla.?
Royal's travel agent call is this week.. I think they will be making a very similar announcement to travel agents that Celebrity did.. I also think during the travel agent call this week they will make the official announcement of when they will be able to sail from the USA. I am excited and I hope they will start sailing from USA in July!!!

AGSLC5 reacted to deep1 in US cruises could restart soon with 'passenger voyages by mid-July,' CDC says
90 or so responses and I can't remember ever seeing as much negativity as I just have? We got what we want! Now there is an avalanche of overthought, baseless, "what ifs" and could be's and.... Were supposed to be pumped. We knew all along that masks and vaccinations would be part of the deal and now the moaning surfaces? I thought this group was supposed to be steadfast cruisers. A week ago you didn't mind the masks and vacs but today you do? Stay on the beach if you wish but I'll be on an upper deck waving bye bye...

AGSLC5 reacted to Sharla in What is the most frustrating thing about Royal Caribbean cruises?
FCC reinstatement and the fact that there is no central place to look up FCCs based on C&A numbers or your name.

I am curious to see if Royal does their Check in Process at Atlantis. That would be cool if they do.

AGSLC5 got a reaction from SebagoSue in CDC reiterates restrictions until November 1st, 2021
I wish the CDC would just give a straight answer. If the answer is on Nov 1 we will lift the order and you can cruise out of the US just say so. That way cruise lines can plan and the public can also plan. I want to go on a Thanksgiving cruise and a New Years cruise.. If the order is listed by Nov 1 that can happen but if it isn't am I going to have to rebook a cruise out of Nassau?? Its so very frustrating

AGSLC5 got a reaction from Jill in Texas lifts ban, cruising to begin in Galveston?
Florida has been Open for months and still we have no cruises so no I don't think Texas opening up matters at all. I think we have to get the Green Light from CDC and then it will be a go.

AGSLC5 reacted to WAAAYTOOO in Moving a Casino Comp Cruise due to Cancellations
Not exactly relating to this topic, but I wanted to report that I spoke with a really good agent this morning and among the many things she did for me, she also informed me that we were absolutely 100% going to get new annual tier casino comp cruises in April. This was great news...I know there has been plenty of speculation about whether or not the casino would be awarding new annual comps this year since nobody cruised or earned one in 2020. But the good news is - we will be getting a new annual comp next month. YIPPEE !!

AGSLC5 reacted to twangster in Texas lifts ban, cruising to begin in Galveston?
If Congress could waive immigration policy enforcement that prevents cruises to nowhere, it would allow cruise lines to take locals from Texas, or locals from Florida, or locals from any coastal state with a cruise port on a cruise to nowhere which would be no different than going to a hotel, visiting their restaurant and drinking at their bar on land.
With numbers dropping and vaccination rates increasing this single act of Congress would open the door for the thousands of Americans that work in the companies that support cruise ship operations in these coastal states to get back to work.
That would be a huge stimulus plan that doesn't cost trillions of dollars and it is non-partisan.
