  1. I have been to Cozumel a number of times and enjoyed the local foods with no adverse abdominal effects. Just don't drink the water! :o I don't understand why folks would want to take food off the ship?
  2. Good question. I, too, am interested in a knowledgeable reply.
  3. Thanks all!
  4. We will be on the Serenade of the Seas this March 6-17. Does anyone know if there is a Park West art auction on board? Also, what will the entertainment be in the main theater? Thanks!
  5. How do you know/where can one find out when opening morning for a future cruise will be?
  6. Falmouth Jamaica.....stay on board the ship. Unless you want to do some heavy duty shopping! Just do not go outside of the fenced in area, you have been warned.
  7. Say what you want about JR, but, you cannot do better than "The Works" for breakfast. And, there is no charge for a breakfast in Johnny Rockets!. Just wish they had larger coffee mugs.
  8. We have always booked a baloney cabin on a higher deck mid ship. It's nice having your morning coffee and toast out on the deck, either cruise days or in port. Also a nice place for a glass off wine in the evening.
  9. It really depends on how much you want to spend. Here are two links, each has some reviews of some of the water shoes they are selling: https://www.westmarine.com/search?Ntt=water+shoes and http://www.leisurepro.com/catalog.aspx?op=gcssearch&term=water+shoes. Good luck!
  10. Well done! I got a chuckle out of the little boy on the knee board in the flow rider, too bad he wiped out! Did you video this with a GoPro?
  11. Pretty sure when you book you have to have a date in mind, but I may be incorrect on that. It may be possible to book a date and change it later, but I'm not sure. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in on this one. You can pay the cruise off anyway you want as long as it is paid in full by the payment due date, which is like 90 days before the cruise.
  12. "working off some of those cruising calories!!" Amen to that!
  13. Also, the aft cabin decks tend to be bigger. But the views pulling into and of port are most impressive. 180 degrees as opposed to 90 on a mid ship deck.
  14. Thanks Matt.
  15. Also, you'll probably get a better selection of cabins/suites to choose from. Years ago we booked on a cruise and was able to get an aft cabin. Haven't had that kind of luck since!
  16. Let me try it this way, can someone who has used MEI in the past please post their phone number here or message it to me. I want to get a price for a cruise next year while RC still has their WOW sale going. Thanks!
  17. What is the 800 phone number for MEI? I would like to call them about a cruise in 2018, thanks.
  18. Rob, There is a Margaritaville in Gerogetown GC. Pretty decent hamburgers and other food, balcony seating overlooking, the port and lots of Jimmy Buffet music & videos and shade.
  19. Kids menu? Hey you're on a cruise....go for the gusto!
  20. Hey Finzup....don't let this put you off. You're going on a cruise, sit back, enjoy and have fun! Oh yeah, and have a drink or three
  21. One other consideration regarding booking online or booking on the ship, and I know this from experience. Booking on board, you stand in line for awhile only to find out the excursion you wanted is sold out (as DocLC said above). So, you have now wasted valuable cruise time for nothing. Always better to book everything you can online at home rather than "on line" once on board.
  22. Yes, and valid passport!
