  1. Come on Carney man.....be nice or Matt is going to make sure you get "scrambled "eggs" morning, noon and night in a to include a cocktail or two
  2. What do you call the white mushy stuff between a shark's teeth?...........slow swimmers. :o
  3. Thanks Matt. I will be embarking on thee Serenade next Monday and will hit the WJ seeking out this gastronomical delight. Looks like an easy recipe to follow in the link you posted. But for me, everything is better on any cruise day!
  4. You have to wear a life vest, some land on the boat and some in the water.
  5. Ok, what the heck is so special about this honey stung chicken?
  6. I can tell you from personal experience that showing up, like really early and camping out at the port after you have parked your car, like if you're going for tickets to a ZZ Top, Greatfull Dead or the Stones concert will not work. Port Security has issues.......just saying......
  7. It's a LOT OF FUN! Especially after you have consumed a copious amount of BBD Rum.......just don't tell the tour operator you have done so. May want to eat some TikTacs also.
  8. Don't throw them away!! Take them home, put them in a file folder/ large envelope and label it with the ship's name and dates. That way you will have them for future reference......which is good to have when there is a"family" disagreement on where you went/what your did on the cruise. :)
  9. Not too silly. A lot of folks do just that. Grab a couple of beach towels and snore to their hearts content, especially after an evening of trying every drink the bars have to offer! Congrats to you son on his Eagle Scout achievement. If he decides to sleep under the stars, please caution him from carving is initials in the deck floor or hand rails, the staff frowns on that kind off stuff. Have fun on your cruise!
  10. I don't know if RCI would host/facilitate a Vet Meet & Greet. But I have seen a lot of "meet & greet" meetings posted on the bulletin board near the Guest Relations Desk like Red Hat Society, Friends of Bill, LGBTQ, etc. They post the date, time and location on the ship. Go Army! US Army Veteran North Carolina
  11. My wife is VERY particular about her hair dryer. Years ago, I convinced her she did not need to bring her own personal one along, Huge Mistake. Our first port of call was Aruba. Guess what we spent two hours doing......hint...not the beach. Needless to say, she now brings her dryer from home and I keep my mouth shut, lesson learned.
  12. We will be in Bonaire on March 13 with the Serenade and I will be off ship scuba diving. Other than staying on the ship, is there any shopping, interesting things in Bonaire that my wife might enjoy?
  13. According to this link, which was updated January 27, 2017, a bottle of water is $2.25 plus gratuity: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/royal-caribbean-drink-prices. Last year on board the Allure I remember that was the price for a bottle of water which was the 16 oz. size, not a liter. Abd, if you are getting off the ship in a port, they usually have bottles of water for sale as you are getting off the ship. Enjoy your cruise!
  14. Try a different web browser. For what ever reason when I log into my booked cruise with Chrome, I get an error message. I logout, get out of Chrome and launch Internet Explorer and log back into my account and presto, no error messages.
  15. Not available right now on the Serenade for the March 6th sailing, not yet anyway.....there's still hope......I'll hold my breath
  16. Yeah, save money on food so they can spend it on cheap t-shirts and a sombrero!
  17. I have been to Cozumel a number of times and enjoyed the local foods with no adverse abdominal effects. Just don't drink the water! :o I don't understand why folks would want to take food off the ship?
  18. Good question. I, too, am interested in a knowledgeable reply.
  19. We will be on the Serenade of the Seas this March 6-17. Does anyone know if there is a Park West art auction on board? Also, what will the entertainment be in the main theater? Thanks!
