  1. Really looking forward to trying Mariner now! Will be talking it over with my wife this weekend ?
  2. Funny you mention that...I ended up in some random lady's heels during our last visit to The Quest.
  3. Nice! I'm really digging that navy blue one.
  4. We just cashed in for $250 of OBC for our March cruise. @WAAAYTOOO, or anyone else who's used it, who do we need to call/email at RC to make sure it's gone through? I printed the page from BOA to bring on board as proof, as you and others have suggested.
  5. We did that same tour on Enchantment...our second time on her, because we missed so much the first time around. Shoot, I totally missed the Viking Crown Lounge, I thought it was some exclusive VIP place.
  6. On formal night I'd suggest more than flip flops. But, I know some heels, and the like, can be very fancy and formal looking, but at the same time be considered flip flops/sandals. Not sure that makes sense, but what I'm getting at is...blingy whatevers should be ok. They don't want "pool clothes", or the "I don't give a ****" look in the MDR, that's what the Windjammer is for. However, as @Matt has mentioned in many podcasts, and I've experienced in my own cruising, some shopping for new cruise-wear is a must before each cruise ?
  7. $900 for a phone?! I didn't know people really pay that. The most I've paid is $100.
  8. Too much $$. People must've been overeating some Johnny Rockets, once again ruining it for the rest of us.
  9. Pretty sure it was Seahorse we did in 2014, to Rainbow reef?... We loved it. It was my first real snorkeling experience, and though I've only done 4 throughout the islands, it's my favorite.
  10. I tend to agree with @JLMoran and @jticarruthers (I was thinking the same thing with the contracts). I don't trust the stock market to begin with, so I'd rather have the cash for some home improvements, or a RC cruise. I do like the fact that RC is giving something extra to the employees. Not many companies do that anymore.
  11. Thanks for the post! You'll love your northeast cruise!!
  12. Thanks @melski94, and @Matt, great answers. My wife started looking at pools today. I'm catching up on the podcasts and I've heard some great tips, but I haven't made it to episode 180 yet, so I'll jump ahead and give that a listen.
  13. Let me know how your tequila shopping goes, i want to do the same in March.
  14. Greetings all! We'll be on Brilliance of the Seas in March, our first cruise with a child. He'll be 1yr old (a fresh 12 months), and we have a couple questions. First off, a few have been answered via the forum, and podcast, so thank you to all. These following questions are the leftovers. 1. Does anyone have experience with taking a 1yr old (or close) to dinner in the MDR? Is it allowed? Should we even attempt it? 2. Does the nursery still cost extra? If so, how much? 3. In general...any tips or suggestions for cruising with a baby. I'll be searching the forum and reading up on previous posts, over the next month. 4. We'll be in a JS (for double points, and to see if the extra space works well), and if I remember correctly, they have bathtubs...yes? Our little guy loves bath tub time, but will be fine with just a shower too. Thanks!
  15. Just a heads up, in case you haven't already read it, but the gratuities just went up to $14.50.
  16. My ex-girlfriend lived there with her parents for almost a year, and she worked as a waitress at Johnny Rockets. Unlike on a ship, they danced and put on a show at various times, she said it was a lot of fun.
  17. I've heard some crazy rumors about The Villages (basically people living out high school/college all over again), but all in all it sounds like a fun place.
  18. I liked Rita's on Serenade a year ago, so I'm hoping Brilliance still has it.
  19. Great post! I love hot dogs, so I've been hoping they're good on board. Sorrento's I disagree. I like Johnny Rockets as well.
  20. There was a place to grab a bite in the Solarium on Freedom in April 2016. I thought that was park Cafe. Whatever it was it was pretty good.
  21. I'd guess Orlando would be good. Tampa, Canaveral, Lauderdale, and Miami all pretty close.
  22. I was thinking about using some OBC for grats in March, but I'm always paranoid about rates going up, so I pre-paid. Sure enough, they just went up.
  23. Just take a soccer ball, or maybe a frisbee to play with in the room(s). Shoot, you can play hide and seek! Glad you two made it safely!
  24. So I've been a part of the forum for a year now, and i love interacting on here with everyone. I finally started listening to the podcast yesterday. I downloaded the first 25, and got through 18 of them while working last night, great way to help stay awake. Thanks @Matt and anyone else involved for keeping it going. I'll download some more this weekend!
