We had no trouble in any of the Med cities. That is why we are going back again.

We love Barcelona. We spent 1 day before and 3 days after our cruise there last year. Tapas and wine for lunch everyday and dinners at various restaurants was incredibly delicious. Going back next year. As WAAAYTOOO said Portifino is truly incredible. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!! A perfect day in Santorini far outweighs a perfect day in COCO CAY.

A guy at our table on our last cruise wore a kilt. We all were impressed.

We get the refreshment package for the water and soda and fresh o.j. and the specialty coffee drinks at least twice a day. We grab waters every time we get something. And Powerade as well. It literally pays for itself in no time especially if it is purchased on sale. You are correct that the deluxe is not worth it. We get cocktails and wine but nowhere near enough to come to the price of the deluxe package.

Central Park does get very hot and humid. Lots of mold spores to make one with allergies miserable. Boardwalk or on the very back of the ship especially is our favorite area to be .

We keep them in our pocket and have not lost one in 20 plus years. Wearing them around your neck in port makes you stand out as a tourist. Rather not give that impression out.

They might as long as they dock on time and customs is done and the weather cooperates. Too many intangibles. We had several foggy days when we were there 5 few years ago. I believe you may be fine but would encourage carry off and line up early. We bring our luggage and get in line early. T hen one goes to eat then the other goes. Works really well.

Yes especially if you have 2 or more sea days. And if you are in a warm climate area. We are doing Anthem in Sept. to New England and decided not to get one as it will be cooling off outside. MAYBE. Global warming may have other ideas. Oh wait that does not exist. That is why Lake Michigan is up 6 feet in 6 years and Lake Huron and Lake Erie are at all time highs.

Call back and ask for a supervisor. Most of the reps work from home and want to get to the next call and will tell you whatever comes to mind. Trying to get facts and answers at times is beyond ridiculous. Thank goodness for travel agents. That is who i would call.

Save your money. You are already getting double points. We never bid due to going from a balcony to a suite you don`t get the double points. The money saved will afford several drinks and dinners and souvenirs and excursions.

Having had numerous skin cancer removal surgeries I would simply say : No tanning beds, SPF 50 or greater, zinc and a big floppy hat. Having lIved in Florida and now moving back. I respect the sun and fear the scalpel. I get tanned on every cruise but not burned like a lot of people do. It is all about respect for Mother Nature.

Or do as we do. Do carry off and away you go. No suggested disembark times for us. The joys of Alaska travel. Yes lots of luggage. But SO worth the extra baggage. Disembark times are purely suggested.

Going on Anthem in Sept. Two months ago the wife said we need a break. No next cruise. LOL HAHA Two days ago she is looking at cruises. NEXT CRUISE here we come. I can bet the farm that she will book 2 or more. I`m not saying a word. All because I picked up some cruise brochures 3 days ago and set them on the table. And she didn`t comment either. As for me I am taking it all in.

We will keep the sea pass cards. Thank you. Never lost one in 20 plus years. And the money saved allows us to get 3 specialty dinners and several cocktails. They are a novelty and a waste of your money. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

We were on a cruise last year and the wife forgot to empty one drawer. We filed a lost item claim.. Never got the stuff back. They throw out or keep most everything. Good luck finding the passenger. Have to give you a lot of credit.

Never put your address on the tags. Name and phone number only. Reason being: Oh look they are going on a cruise for a week. We have their address. Lets pay that house a visit. Or posting on Facebook. Look we are boarding the ship. See you in a week or so. Don`t make a crooks life easy.

We always fly in early the day before. In Sept. we leave Knoxville at 5:30 a.m. to go to Newark. We always go out early so if their are any problems we have options available. We never use air to Sea as we either find great rates or have air miles available.

Overseas men should put their wallets in their front pockets and women should have their purse in front of them. Pickpockets avoid making eye contact when at all possible.. As far as locks go they are easy to pick and there are not that many mater keys needed to open them. We always have any valuables in our carry on.

The earlier that you get to the pier may or may not get your luggage to your room by dinner. Just being honest and not trying to upset you. You just never know. For example lets say you have 4 suitcases. 3 might come early and the 4th an hour or 2 later. It has happened to us on more than 1 occasion.
