NOLA is one of my favorite destinations. Now we can do do NOLA and a cruise. What a combo. Can`t wait. No Mardi Gras tho. That`s too chaotic.

Its the same nasty champagne you get at the art auction. Not rude at all to ask please no champagne.

A hoodie and a nylon jacket. Warm and dry. And not bulky. Kind of like what you would wear on an Alaskan cruise.

Harv and Marv`s whale watching is the best.

Usually a month out the wife starts planning as for me a few days prior. This year will be hectic. We are listing our house in mid August and going on a cruise Sept. 12. No more suit packing just a blazer and that works great for me. Heck the day I got married I packed for the honeymoon and forgot nothing and still that way to this day. That was only 43 years ago. HA HA. No pressure. Also leave room in your luggage and split items up. Room for purchases. Luggage loss does happen unfortunately.

I`ll take the refund. Thank You. Don`t care to be sailing on A.O.T.S. Adrift Of The Seas. Partial propulsion to ZERO propulsion. Hope it never happens BUT it can.

We have used the ATM `s in Europe a lot. No service charge either. Convert at the airport before you fly home.

They know when you are bad or good so be good for goodness sake. Like Ninja`s they are everywhere. And they will put you off the ship. It does happen but you hardly ever hear about. Who would ever admit to that happening? Having 4 metal parts my self I just go thru the motions with the various security agencies. Friends of ours were recently on a cruise and this guy didn`t show up to muster. He was in his cabin drunk and belligerent. He was escorted off the ship.

My wife has 5 sisters all over the country and is traveling to see them constantly. While I am "HOME ALONE". Now that we are moving back to Florida I just might start doing solo cruises. With several ports to choose from and last minute cabins it is a no brainer. Then again she loves to cruise as well. Just think I could start BOB`S BLOGS. What a thought.

MEI is an excellent and only choice to make. We were using AAA but our agent went to a different department and the agent we got is not that knowledgeable so this fall we are moving and will be switching to MEI.

The longer the better. As long as you can get off the ship every so often. Over the years we have met people who are on the ship 6 months or longer at a time. Last cruise this lady has been living on the ship for several years. She stated it is cheaper than being in any type of retirement setting. And on more than 1 cruise we have seen and met the 2 German fellas who are on board for 6 or more months at a time. You can`t miss them as they dress up for dinner nightly in outlandish outfits. Looking forward to doing the top and bottom back to back out of Sydney. A mere 30 days. Plus spending 5 days in Sydney.

Seen it 2 cruises ago. Didn't look that bad. He had on nice dark denim jeans and nice shoes.
Sandals would be my choice.

Time to squeeze in a 3 day cruise so the 2021 won`t be that far off. Or 2 perhaps.

Like I stated in a previous post that tuxedo T shirt is looking more and more like a reality. Only time will tell.

Anyone Get Drink Package for Convenience?
in Royal Caribbean Discussion

Unless there are several sea days it is not worth purchasing. We spend about half of what the package costs. That would be 4 drinks per person per day. With the free drinks we get daily and wine we brought on we are only buying one or two drinks a day. $ 50 a day vs. $ 120 a day is a no brainer. And a big cost savings.
