In all honesty you are on vacation and who cares about a silly wrinkle. Besides if you get stuff pressed its a matter of minutes before the wrinkles are going to reappear anyways. And the chances of seeing any of these people ever again are about the same odds as winning the lottery.

Now that they have discontinued red velvet cupcakes what they do have does look that inviting. I have surprised the wife on many a cruise but not on our next cruise in 2 weeks. You could tell the head waiter to surprise him one night at dinner. That is done a lot more lately. I may do that this time as well.

Same odds of winning that are prevalent in the casino lottery or powerball or mega millions.

People With Unpopular Opinons?
fonemanbob replied to VillainsGin's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
FAKE NEWS I MEAN FALSE COMMENTS. None of those facts are even close to the truth. Those comments are such a joke. Almost as bad as the people who write bad reviews on various sites. Those come from very unhappy people and will do anything or say or write anything just to see their name in print. We totally dismiss those types of reviews all the time. Cruising is the only way to go. -
Alaska: Trying to Decide Whether to Change My Sailing
fonemanbob replied to Katy's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We are loyal to Royal somewhat. Did Alaska 4 years ago on Princess due to many recommendations. Absolutely worth the change of companies. Will use them when we go back. July 4th time frame is best as that is when salmon season gets into high gear. Copper River Salmon is by far the best salmon you will ever eat. And the weather is also good. We went out of Vancouver and loved the city. The scenery is amazing and walking on a glacier is a unique experience. Got some absolutely amazing wildlife pictures. Do Harv and Marv`s whale watching trips. That was an amazing trip as well. Small boats with only a dozen people on our boat. Not those boats that carry 200 plus people and can`t get close to the whales. And not price prohibitive either. Nothing like hiking one morning and around the bend we came upon a moose and her calf. Backwards we went very slowly and took a different route. -
And Sex On The Beach. The list is countless. Mostly from the 80`s. Bahama Mama is or was served a lot on cruise ships in the Caribbean. They are all legit drinks and all very good.

What does ICON Class mean for us?
fonemanbob replied to FManke's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Deck 2 will be converted for the placement of OARS. There will be rowing skills competition. As well as if you misbehave you will be sent rowing and not to the galley. No more time outs for the kids. Everybody sing along.. ROW ROW ROW YOUR SHIP. GENTLY ACROSS THE OCEAN. The fuel savings will be so great that the big muck a mucks will see nice year end bonuses. As for the rest of us we will get something in the effect of perhaps an admission price at COCO CAY. Or a 2 for 1 deluxe drink package for $ 150 perhaps. Sign of the times. You just never know what evil lurks out there. -
To Key or NOT to Key. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT getting it. NOT worth it. So much $ for so little. Even on sale it would be a hard sell. But that`s me.

sex on the beach, slippery nipple, fuzzy navel, Jack and Coke, slow gin fizz, whatever they are drinking, Bahama Mama, Hendricks and tonic. And last is the drink of the day. Always a crowd favorite. You will have plenty to choose from. And hopefully not a headache or hangover. Please hydrate.

Never got an EDOC notice and we are on anthem in 2 weeks and we just got another Royal Up email. The cruise has been sold out for weeks. RC at its finest. Have read and been told do not do the guaranteed room. It is a crap shoot. Its like the casino. You never know.

Unless you plan on having 4 or 5 drinks a day save your money. You will be glad you did. And money ahead.

KEY LESS is Just another gimmick to make money with almost ZERO benefits. The money you will spend for The Key would buy 3 nights of specialty dinners and so much more. Save your money and if you already bought it CANCEL it.

The best thing about about pre-cruise
fonemanbob replied to RCIfan1912's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We are 23 days away from sailing on Anthem and we don`t have time to barely think about the cruise. We are putting our house on the market this Thursday and have been working on the house everyday and then some. We are SOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to this cruise. Wife now fears a quick sale which we dearly want, but that means when we get back from the cruise we will have less than two weeks to pack. Oh yes and by the way we will be at future cruise desk for sure. And enjoying libations. -
Normally a big table serves 10. I would hope they would put 3 tables together. Then that`s wishful thinking. I would make some phone calls. Perhaps to your travel agent 1st to get that squared away with RC.

Frequency of Alcohol Fuelled Incidences
fonemanbob replied to jill wozhere's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We have seen a few incidents over the years that were taken care of immediately. All in all you will be fine. The best story we heard was a few months ago friends of ours were on a cruise and this guy did not show up for muster. They went to his cabin and he was belligerently drunk. He was escorted off the ship. Nice cruise HUH. -
Did I pick bad rooms? If so can I change?

WALKEEE WALKEEE A fan will do the trick. -
Ours were found after the last page of the Guest Ticket book which is 15 pages long. Our travel agent gifts then the luggage tag.

Change is good. Different ships have different venues. Variety is good. Heaven help us if all the ships had the same venues.

It is called a vacation. Unless you have to go on an excursion. We have a cheap travel alarm and it works fine. I also have an internal alarm clock that goes off about 4 a.m. most nights. I know too much info. LOL

When to expect the future summer cruises in 2021?
fonemanbob replied to TheHobbys's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
And now that China and the stock market is tanking. What can that mean to the cruise industry? Let alone all of the other commodities and business and all of us. -
What to do in Perfect Day @ CocoCay
fonemanbob replied to Bakerette's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
DO NOTHING.. You are on vacation. Cell phone is in the safe and the t.v. is off. Unfortunately a lot of people don`t know how to RELAX. Like the song says: don`t worry be happy. -
Nothing like Fido`s various shall we say fluids all over the serving spoons, etc. in the windjammer and elevator buttons and so on. YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Fido does not even do WASHEEE WASHEEE. I love dogs . Cats I`m allergic to them but still will show them affection and then promptly wash up. After every cruise we would do our best to get to the kennel that day to pick her up. Pets can be great companions.

That is the other reason we are moving back to Florida. Flying out of Knoxville is a joke. On the other hand we use our air mile credit cards for almost everything. The points have made our airline costs almost non existent . Also having a good travel agent is beyond beneficial at times. I used to book our airlines for years and would do all kinds of connecting flights to save money. It was a lot cheaper to connect than a lot of the direct flights. We agree it is a hassle.

Enjoy the cruise. It may lead to many more cruises. Don`t be overwhelmed and take 1 day at a time. Get to the pier by 10 - 10:30 a.m. and then just relax. Get on on board and just wander about the ship so as to familiarize yourself with it. Enjoy your cruise.
