Carlos A. reacted to VillainsGin in American Airlines Seating Assigned Does Not Match The Seating Map?
Much appreciated for putting me at ease! I've flown countless of times but have never encountered this situation before so it's good to know everything is fine. I will eventually call the airline when I have time to find out their reason for labeling the map and the ticket like this for curiosity sake and report back if anything is different!
Thank you @USCG Teacher @Carlos A.

Check the image, just below "Main Cabin" you can see that when there are only two seats there is no seat B, so everything is Ok.

From the looks of things, you're assigned a Boeing 777 for this flight. I'm going to agree with @Carlos A. here and assume that they've just maintained the same seating designations from the Premium Economy section and omitted seats B & K in the 2-4-2 row of Main Cabin Extra. I wouldn't be concerned, but you can always call or jump on the Customer Service chat online or on the app if it'll set your mind at ease!

What would you think if RC followed DCL with this policy: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/faq/castaway-club/membership/?
"To remain in the program, Castaway Club Members must book or sail on at least one eligible cruise within 5 years of their last Disney voyage."

I don't think the program is broken, it is doing exactly what it is intended to do, motivate repeat bookings.
When a program is successful isn't a sign that it must change. It's a sign that is has been designed properly.
If it isn't broken, it doesn't need to be fixed.

I love this idea. It's not hard to achieve for most and would allow for a reset on those with status who are not using it.

This makes perfect sense. If RC is rewarding you for your loyalty, you have to maintain your loyalty.

I actually think this is the way to go. Status for life (and marrying/matching status) is what has gotten them into this situation.

Carlos A. reacted to Zacharius in What's a shore excursion you'll never do again?
We always get off. Walk around a bit, grab a few beers at Pirate Republic, and get out of the touristy area for some conch.
Tulum is the definition of someplace that should be its own destination, not something tacked on to a cruise
Labadee is actually home of our favorite ever cruise excursion...take a boat 30ish minutes away to a small little island and float in the water for hours with endless rum punch and Prestige beer. My wife and I still talk about it 10ish years later.

Carlos A. reacted to itchintogo in I always completed my Post Cruise Survey's, until I overheard this!
On a cruise in 2022 I was reminded every night in the dining room to fill out the survey. I would reply that I always do the survey and give honest answers. On the last night we finished our dinner and left the table. Our waiter didn’t see us leave and ran to us as we were exiting the dining room. In a very excited voice, he begged us to complete the survey, give him a good review, and did we want to tip him before we left. I was so appalled by his behavior that I couldn’t reply. My husband just gave a quick “no!” And we left. This event was mentioned in my survey response. I felt like I was being pressured to do the d**n survey!

Carlos A. reacted to twangster in The Evolution of Cruising. Silver Origin to the Galapagos Islands
Cruise Summary
This has been hands down one of the best cruises I have experienced. It was so worth it. When can I come back? I want to do the Southern Galapagos itinerary next time.
It’s hard to put into words just how incredible this experience has been.
The Galápagos Islands have been on my bucket list for some time. What a phenomenal way to get there. I realize now there are mistakes I have made. The first is that I waited too long to visit the Galápagos Islands. The second is that I didn’t book a back to back cruise to see even more.
There were so many nights I put my head on the pillow thinking about the amazing experience I had earlier that day. Can it get any better I thought? And then it did the very next day.
Silversea made it all very easy.
As far as food goes we are all unique with our preferences and tastes. I try not to comment on food because my tastes are different than everyone else. What I crave or dislike shouldn't matter to anyone. Having said that I ended up eating more fish than I normally do and I found myself liking it more than I normally do. I enjoyed the wines offered each night.
Leaving the ship for the last time yesterday was a little emotional. Over a lot of non-expedition cruising on a variety of cruise lines I have never felt that before. I'm really going to miss the Silver Origin and the phenomenal team that made this trip something I'll never forget.
I haven’t seen many threads about the Galápagos Islands as a destination so I hope you have found this helpful and I thank you for viewing.

Brightline has had many incidents of people not understanding (or understanding all too well) how train track crossings work.

Carlos A. reacted to twangster in The Evolution of Cruising. Silver Origin to the Galapagos Islands
After dinner I ventured outside to see how the night sky was looking. The cloud cover from earlier remained so I returned to my cabin to go through some pictures.
Around 10:00pm I went out on my balcony and saw what I thought might be the Milky Way off my balcony. Sure enough an app confirmed it so I went out to the deck eight forward star gazing deck that I took the pictures of Kicker Rock from.
I haven't spent a lot of time tweaking this just yet, but here is what I captured with a long exposure.

I guess you aren’t setting foot in Europe either.
I’ve never seen soldiers with AR-15s on a beach in Mexico (and I am in Mexico ALOT)
