I was on that cruise and think it may have been the person in the cabin next to me.  When I woke up that morning that they had a lock on the cabin door next to me and someone was guarding the door all morning.
i saw a person go in that cabin day 1.  I thought it was a teen boy or could have been 20.  I wasn't really looking at him cuz I was decorating my door when he came and used a key to get in.  My daughter and I were telling him how I sometimes put my deco on other doors the last night to confuse people.  He laughed.  He was black, quiet and polite, not someone who seemed like a raging alcoholic like the press seems to be saying.  It could have been the brother though.  We never heard a noise out of that cabin, no partying, no arguing, no slamming doors.  I looked over our balcony at theirs after I saw the lock, there was nothing but chairs there.

Truthfully, My family & I just returned from a glorious week aboard the Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas & it was everything several of you say it’s not worth the price.
The entire cruise WAS totally Indescribable from the second we set foot out of our limos until our final walk down the gangway. I actually cried once back in Miami when it was time to disembark.
This was one of the most fabulous vacations I've ever had.
Royal Caribbean International is truly "The Icon of the Seas." No other cruise line even comes close.
Everyone on board was superb. Always smiling, friendly, eager to please. Fantastic food. Spectacular, Broadway quality entertainment, more activities than you could ever imagine.
    Never a dull moment.
It's totally indescribable and WELL WORTH THE PRICE! . OV
    Comment as Laura..

Yes, diapered kids are allowed in CocoCay pools. Rules different on land vs sea.

Hey! Room service charges can vary. Typically, it's per order, and tips might not be included in the price. You can order a variety of items from the menu, including breakfast. Continental breakfast is often complimentary, but adding a tip is a nice gesture. Room service hours vary by hotel, but some offer 24/7 service.

The battle for Coco Cay on April 2nd is still ongoing.  Facebook groups are interesting and full of drama, especially between Symphony and Freedom.  Spies were deployed between the groups to provide intel on what the other group are hearing from Royal.  Currently, Freedom seems to have drawn the short straw, but no official word from Royal yet.  Freedom even started a call campaign and called for all "Karens" to unite.  I feel bad for Royal customer care staff right now that have to answer some of these calls because so many of them are demanding to talk to a manager and updating their conversations live.

Walk around Fisherman's Wharf and take the water taxi to Victoria's Downtown. It's a beautiful city.

This is exactly what we do! The downtown area has many very nice restaurants, bars and shopping options that you can easily make the most of your time there. The downtown is VERY clean and safe. Even walking around and not spending a dime is better than sitting on the ship for this port.

We have a Junior suite. While there is enough room, I just want to keep people happy.

I was on Symphony of the Seas with our teen daughters in February. The kids insisted that they did not want housekeeping in their room, which I found annoying at the time. The said it creeped them out to think of a stranger going in and out of their space. This story came out a couple of weeks after our cruise and I realized that the kids had the right idea. 😬

That will be 100% up to the staff overseeing those specific beds on that specific day. You aren’t going to get an answer that will apply universally one way or another. The policy is 4, so if they enforce 4…you are out of luck. I personally think you will be OK and wouldn’t worry about it too much. They are more concerned about 5 adults being in one bed than a family of 5 with a very small child.

I would keep the bed at South beach. Happy baby, happy trip. And they come with a bit of shade too.

I definitely recommend giving the local office a call to be certain, I believe they have a shuttle at their office but not sure if they currently make runs to the port.  There are definitely taxi's and Uber available at the Port for the return trip if needed.
