I've been in total lockdown in Toronto for almost a year. I'm hoping to get OUT of Canada by 2022.

I'm still in total lockdown in Toronto, Canada. Only essentials open, and what they deem essential is crazy. Can't even get a haircut, since they haven't been open since October.

Americans have lost perspective. We'd bend over backwards to get vaccines. So would 99% of the countries in the world.

I'm seriously looking at cancelling my three upcoming cruises and moving to cruise companies that have fully vaccinated cruises.

The problem will continue to be the countries (like the USA and UK) who test, test, and test more, trying to identify every case. Then upon finding a case, treating the patient a if they're a threat to the stability of the world.

    No.
I am, however, looking forward to a fully vaccinated NCL cruise in four months:

Not news items, studies. Peer reviewed journal articles.

While there have been no peer reviewed articles specific for COVID, adding plexiglass as part of a multi faceted approach does reduce covid contact.

I said potentially cause side effects DOWN THE ROAD. The current vaccines that use viruses as a carrier for the vaccine, Johnson and Johnson and Astra Zeneca, do have about a 7 in one million chance of causing blood clots. This happens almost immediately, and is highly treatable.

What most non-scientific people are concerned about IMO are effects that happen years from now. There is nothing in these vaccines that could possibly cause side effects like that.

Non scientists also falsely assume that covid vaccine research is a recent thing. Covid vaccines have been researched since SARS, seventeen years ago.

No.  For me and realize many will disagree and think I am crazy, I want to go on a cruise as I did before this mess happened. I always felt th ships were cleaner than most hotels and amusement parks but what do I know. My family has been through Covid and ready to move past all this nonsense. I also never want to words social distance gain. Get me on a ship with a drink of the day.

With everyone being treated as unvaccinated, this means that everyone will have to give a negative test done at least 3 days before cruising.

I have side to side cruises booked. Valiant Lady, which will be fully vaccinated, then Odyssey of the Seas. Since I can't get a PCR test for Odyssey, does that mean I have to cancel?
Royal caved to Florida, plain and simple.

The best way to consider others, on or off the ship, is to vaccinate. Remember, if an outbreak occurs on the ship, everyone's cruise will be ruined, not just the unvaccinated.

Because choosing not to vaccinate and to keep the ability to infect others will mean pre-vaccination rules for everyone at best, infecting other passengers at worst.
