  1. Not sure is this has been posted before but it is nice to know there is a webcam at the port in Galveston: Now I came day dram more at the office. Today Enchantment is there. Sailing her on August 28 for a Labor day sailing. Using @Matt's advice and saving a PTO day!! THX @Matt https://www.galveston.com/cruisevideocam/
  2. We never take out insurance and never had a bad experience....BUT one counter agent made me nervous when he mentioned that those/our insurances (personal USAA in our case and our CC) probably does not cover 'Loss of use'!!! If the company has the car in for repairs for an amount of time you have NO control over the fee can add up quick!
  3. Nothing better than Drunken Midnight Key Lime Pie <<<<That's Trademarked Do Not Steel
  4. We love the Downtown Hilton on Biscayne. We get the King Suite (last time we were there it was $159 a nt.) suites face Dodge Island. Walk to Bayside and AA Arena.
  5. Ummm…. the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans do not meet in the Caribbean. Do you mean Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea?
  6. Going on cruise number 25 in August. I've done maybe 5 excursions total over the years.
  7. With deck 12 I see zero issues.... 14 has the pools decks and water slides above. might have people/crew dragging chairs on the deck?.! also not sure where the pumps for the water slide are. That could be an issue????
  8. Hey folks, Sorry I never finished this blog BUT if you are interested in going on INDY next year for the Monsters of Rock Cruise. First timer booking is Next week at <MonstersofRockCruise.com> MonstersofRockCruise.com
  9. I'm 100% with twangster on this topic. Cheapest 7 nt Royal cruises for a reason.
  10. Did something happen that this blog never really got off the ground??
  11. I was just bustin'. Sorry if it didn't come across that way. I'm From Jersey and have an interesting sense of humor.
  12. Really?? Many cruises go to Cozumel. you would have a better chance of seeing Cozumel on a future cruise than you would the other two. My vote is to stay onboard at Cozumel.
  13. Best bang for your buck is to tour NASA. 15-20 minutes away. You can see it from the port. It is a lot more awesome than it sounds. All the rockets and the Space Shuttle Atlantis is there. If you go with Disney... the drive one way is ONE HOUR+. Parking and getting into Magic Kingdom 30 to 60 MINUTES (depending on where they drop you off). The time of year can cripple your wait times....Sept & May you MIGHT go from ride to ride with ease....When school is out 30 to 90 minutes EACH ride. AAAAND IF it is after Aug 29th 2019 do not even attempt to go near MK with the new Star Wars land opening. You'll be in tears at 10 AM. $$
  14. With the drivers around that area, you'd be putting your life in danger.
  15. Not a big deal, but it looks like it is increased to 130 per day
  16. I know @Matt never EVER talks about it but attend the shopping seminar. You'd swear they don't exist with matt around...jk. I think it is helpful and informative about each port and many times you get a little hook-up. Free taxi to the downtown Cozumel area once. Cut the very long line and discounted ferry at St. Thomas another time.. Plus free swag! If it's free, it's for me!!
  17. redundant question I am sure: New Diamond here. Do ALL adults (4) get he 3 free drink each evening if the cabin is booked with my name being first? … the other three adults are only Gold. TIA
  18. Report post Posted March 30 I have not tried the Coco loco but I'm definitely a fan of the labadoozie!!! FYI same exact drink
  19. Chase Sapphire Reserve card - $450.00 Annual Fee!!!!! HOLY SMOKES!!
