So, Tyna and I were just looking at cruises out of Canaveral next fall, more specifically, next September, October & November. All we saw was Majesty & Oasis. Are the pickings that slim out of Canaveral or is it just that particular time of year? I just thought it seemed odd.

Speaking of his podcasts ..... I still stand to this day believing that #71 is the best ever. It really help to explain the different types of pricing promotions, what to look for, etc. The knowledge I gained form that one podcast put me over the top in the level of confidence I have today.It's one I keep referencing to when I talk to folks that have never cruised.

That's too funny.... I get on youtube and watch the mini-series of "Drydock, A Cruise Ship Reborn" --- When they rehabbed Sovereign back in, I believe, '05 - If there was a way to purchase it, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I loved Izumi --- I'm not a sushi person (my wife is), but there are other alternatives -- it was the service and the quality of food that Izumi is a MUST on the upcoming cruises.....

I believe you may have misunderstood the question .... In a nutshell, if you pay for a cruise in full well before the assigned Final Payment Date, does that work against you if the price drops?

Quick Question... If you pay for your cruise well in advance of Final Payment Date ..... and the price drops before Final Payment Date, are you still able to take advantage of the drops in the form of OBC's or an actual refund of the difference?

So, last night as Tyna and I are sitting around a bonfire up on the mountain, we're talking about how badly we want to get back to Bermuda .....soooo.... WE BOOKED IT AGAIN!!! -- While we were throwing logs on the fire - Hey, cell service works there too. We're going back on Grandeur for their 5-night sailing to Bermuda next September. Same itinerary, same cabin, same everything .... only $300 cheaper (go figure) ---- Oh, and to top it all off, we've been in touch with another couple that we met on board and it would appear they want to do the same thing.... Plus, we still have the Rhapsody cruise the following April.... So, as I see it, ZERO cruises for 7 years, then 3 cruises in 2 1/2 years.....I don't consider that to be a bad thing at all. You folks are a bad influence, scratch that, a GOOD influence on us. The questions I have for everyone is .... Who has repeated a cruise, same itinerary, ship, etc. just because the first time was just that much fun, and why? -- And --- who have met folks on a cruise, only to keep in touch with them well after the cruise ended, and possibly cruise together again? Also, who has traditions that they must adhere to as they board the ship or when they get on the ship? For example, I will always wear my sovereign of the Seas T-Shirt as I board...... Mark

Exactly .... we were on the heals of TS Karl when we went out there .... although a much weaker storm, you would never have known there was a storm at all ..... The only affect that there seemed to have been on the island was cell service. Apparently some of their towers had been knocked off-line.

I noticed when you are first able to print your Setsail Pass --- The luggage tags are NOT there.... Then, on Day 49 --- when you receive the cruise documents, the ability to print luggage tags becomes available.

Exactly what Matt said ..... we were on the September 24th sailing of Grandeur out of Baltimore .... we were on the heals of TS Karl -- it was blatantly obvious the captain held back on the speed as we got out there in order to provide a smoother sailing ..... was it like glass? No, but it was obvious he was doing his best to ensure a smooth sailing ...... which it was ...... We had a FANTASTIC time and can't wait to do it again.

Yeah, because I seem to recall that before Oasis came out, it was dubbed "Genesis Class"

Yeah, I noticed that none of the Bermuda schedules have been released yet for any of 2018.

Have you seen the latest forecast? It almost appears as though Matthew could make a giant loop ..... Could the Florida Coast get hit twice? We shall see, but this is becoming very interesting.

Thank You for quoting that particular statement .... I wrestled with just how to word it because, conveying what is in my heart to a sentence can be difficult at times ..... You, from your statement, get how just the act of decompressing from all the crap going on in the world, can do more for you and your faith in humanity than you could ever expect or imagine when you first board the ship ..... that alone, can make a person addicted to cruising. As I sort of mentioned in the original post ---- For a brief moment in time, all 2,400 of us were family, period. Tears were shed on disembarkation day, hugs were freely given, and the friends we made from all walks of life will forever have a place in our hearts .... Thank You Royal Caribbean for giving all of us an avenue to just find our faith in humanity and that love, kindness, mutual respect and faith in each other will always win out over the evils of the world. You know .... as we were looking at them, I actually did look at when others are going to be on, like yourself....... However, the Mrs. is intent on the fall so she can build up her vacation time ..... And wouldn't you know it, that's when you're on your B2B.

I was thinking the same thing ...... I've got the webcam for Nassau on the screen right now and will monitor throughout the day .... At least by seeing what's going on there will be a fairly decent idea as to what is going on over at Coco
