Why do they call it the port side then?! Our travel agent booked us a port side cabin for this very reason 😕

I'm off on my first ever cruise this summer - 2 weeks on Navigator. I'm getting the Ultimate drinks package and planning on trying as many cocktails as possible so I'll let you know when I get back!

According to the Cruise Compasses on here, some of the exercises classes are included but others you have to pay extra for - marked by a $ next to them. I did read somewhere that they don't cost much and are good quality though.

Port side is the left as you face towards the front of the ship. If you go onto the cruise planner on RCI website, you'll be able to see the plan for the deck your cabin is on and find your cabin on there too see which side it's on. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone, I'm Hayley from Coventry, England. I will be sailing on my first ever cruise this August on Navigator from Southampton around the Med. I'll be travelling with my parents, who've never cruised before either, and my husband who used to be in the Royal Navy, so although he's used to being at sea, he's looking forward to doing it in a slightly more relaxed fashion!
