  1. Hi All, We sail on Sunday 3/17 on Explorer of the Seas on a 5-night Eastern Caribbean Run to Falmouth and Labadee. The most recent cruise compass for Explorer on this forum is from last June while operating in the Mediterranean. Is there any chance we can see a more recent 2024 Miami based cruise compass? Thanks, James
  2. Hi All, We are super stoked for our 2nd sailing on Explorer in 2024 and looking forward to our westbound 12-night transatlantic from Barcelona to Miami in November. On this bucket list run, I am taking my Mother who lives in France as an 80th birthday present. Cheers for now, James
  3. Hi Ryan... appreciate your input - we watch every day or thereabouts to see when all the activities appear. We have a Norway sailing next summer on Anthem, and all activities are already populated. Have a great weekend. Thanks, James
  4. Hi All, We have a Labadee run on Jan 25 2023 on Independance, and on the RCL site, when we look for the Dragon's breath zipline, jetski'ing, kayaking, etc., nothing is populating online. The only bookable options are the various beach cabanas. Any idea on when RCL typically promotes all the normal additional activities? We are Diamond, and this is our first Labadee run and normally book our activities 6-9 months in advance. Any comments, suggestions, recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks, James HS
  5. Really looking forward to this sailing (4th RCCL run for 2023) - and hoping that the early October weather will be kind in Hamilton
  6. You will have a blast... Typically in Halifax, we get off and explore the town... Salty's on the waterfront is a fabulous seafood restaurant. The Bicycle Thief is a great restaurant close to the port. The Citadel is worth the hike up the hill. There is so much to see and do in town, that we avoid doing any tours which consume much of the day. The Peggy's Cove tour only allows you about an hour at the location (no time for lunch) and you spend the rest of the time on a coach... Just our two-cents...
  7. Thank you all for the valuable information shared today! much appreciated…
  8. Hi All, We are super stoked for this Caribbean Run, and it will be our first Oasis Class ship. We have three rooms booked, (1 Junior Suite and 2 Central Park interiors on deck 9). We are approaching Diamond C&A, having sailed multiple times on Anthem (and Liberty on June 20 to Halifax) Cheers for now, James and Domi
  9. What are the lunch specialty dining options on Oasis of the Seas on Embarkation Day? According to the App, it would appear that some specialty restaurants are open at lunch (including Chops Grille) however, one cannot make any reservations on either the App or Website. We prefer to avoid the buffet where possible. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, James
