Last month we did our first cruise, I did the excursions I wants ( beaches and such) and my husband did the ones he wanted ( zip line, atv tour, seadoo tour) . I was wondering how common is it for couples to do separate excursions? are we weird for doing this ? lol

we are leaving from NJ ( which is great since we'll be driving down from Canada) day 1, 2,3 are at sea day 4 Puerto Rico day 5 St- Maarten day 6 Antigua day 7 St. lucia day 8 Barbados day 9 St. Kitts day 10, 11, 12 at sea

We are currently booked on Anthem of the seas for a 12 night southern Caribbean. Other ships available for this are Serenade and Grandeur. Which ship is best for a long cruise like this? Our kids are 8, 3 and almost 2. Plus if anyone has done Southern Caribbean please give me some tips/recommendations for excursions and stuff! thanks!

That price is the same I think , hopefully it stays like that till they are open and I can call! wooooo this made my night! We have 2 connecting rooms booked on Anthem of the seas for a 13 day southern Caribbean cruise. We are booked with the 30t% off promo. Now the WOW promo came out with the 30% off + OBC ( 200$ per room in our case) Can I just call and get them to add the OBC? I'm not sure how this works.

thanks everyone! this is making me feel a lot better! we have 5 sea days on this itinerary, so it made me a bit nervous.

We are booked for a 13 day southern Caribbean on anthem of the sea. I'm starting to second guess it now. This will only be our second cruise. Our first was with Celebrity on the Reflection. The AOS is quite a bit bigger than the Reflection. I've heard from a few people that they would never go back on a big ship like that because it was so crowded, all they did was wait. Now I'm nervous!! I'd love to get some different opinions on it. Also, is the premium drink package really 80$ a day?? that's what its tell me ( in CAD $) which seems to be pretty high!

Hi! So we are new to cruising. We've done 1 cruise a month ago with celebrity cruises, concierge class. It was amazing, the only issue was that there was no daycare for our 16 month old... which is what brought us to RCCL. here are some of my questions 1,We are a family of 5, 2 adults, 3 kids ages 8, 3 and 15 months. We just put a deposit on a cruise with RCCL for next January but I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right. Its the 12 nights southern Caribbean on anthem of the seas. Does this ship have any rooms that holds 5 other than the suites? Right now I have 2 connecting rooms booked, but I would love to have everyone in 1 room! 2.Do they ever have better promotions? it seems like they aren't offering much compared to the other companies. Do they ever have the pick1, pick2 type of deals? and if they do would we be able to apply them to our reservation? 3. We are sailing out of NJ, which is amazing since we're Canadian and its only a 6 hour drive vs the 26 hour drive we usually do to Florida! How long does it usually take to reach "warm" weather from NJ? Should I be cutting out the 1st and 2nd sea days as too cold? that's all I can think of right now...tia!
