We were wondering if its Worth paying to go to this? We will be on freedom on January 7th. We have 3 Young kids ( 9-4-2). Is it Worth the 13$? also, where is the breakfast? Is there a specific day that its better to go? they offer it on day 2, day 7 ( before last day) and day 8 ( last day full day)

Alright so I called, and they said the 650$ is the correct price. yikes!

They are both Nellie's beach cabanas, and both over the water... I added it to my cart and selected only 1 person, but the total still came to 650$.. maybe i'll have to call and ask. it doesnt sound right at all

you`re welcome! do you happen to know which nights will be the formal nights? We all hate seafood in our family, so i'm hoping to book a dining on one of those nights! -
I wanted to booked one overlooking the water. I looked on the site and it says ' starting at 330$ CAD`... now i log on to my cruise planner and its 650$! is it normal to have such a huge price difference??

I noticed this morning that réservations are open for our freedom cruise in January. Now i need to pick between a 3 or 4 meal package... its a 8 night cruise, will 4 be too much? Also do the dining packages ever go on sale? or is the package already considered kind of a sale? -

cjappert replied to cjappert's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining

johnny rockets - please explain it to me

the only time we've ever sailed was with Celebrity, and they had an amazing outdoor grill every day for lunch, I think that's what im going to miss the most being on RCCL. I figured maybe JC could kind of replace the outdoor grill, but we'll see -

we're never been, is it worth the extra money? -
personally I would give it more than 15-20 minutes before moving a towel and taking the chair. We have young kids, and if I need to take them to get a snack, or change a diaper, I can tell you it will take more than 15-20 minutes. If I were to come back and someone was in our chairs I would absolutely let them know, and most likely in a not so pleasant way.

thanks! ive been seeing that they offer take out as well? how would that work when someone can order as much as they want? Wouldnt someone be able to order like 3 burgers and fries and pay for one and take it to go? it just doesnt make sense to me, but i might just be slow lol -
Ive been reading about it , and i just dont get it.It says for something like 6.95 you can get anything you want off the menu ( except for shakes i think) ... is that right?

Parking and hotel - Fort Lauderdale

thanks again everyone. I guess with 3 young kids, parking at the port seems like it'll be worth the extra money! -
Parking and hotel - Fort Lauderdale
cjappert replied to cjappert's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
does the park and cruise cost extra? -
Does anyone just park at the port? Im seriously debating this since the shuttle we had last time was such a hassle. is it Worth the extra money? are there any cons to parking there? Also im looking for decent but cheap hôtels close by. We will be doing a week at Disney World before the cruise and im wondering if i should just book an extra night and just drive down to fort Lauderdale the morning of departure ( which is what we did this year) or if we should drive down the night before and get a hotel in fort Lauderdale the night before The hôtels i`ve been seeing in fort Lauderdale so far all seem to be more expensive than the Disney ones...

Can someone let me know what the ultimate package price is on the US site with the 20% off? I'm pretty sure they made a mistake on the Canadian site. ( it was 86 CAD per day, now its 59 CAD per day.. .which is a lot more than 20%)
-
Well now I have no worries that we'll take full advantage of the package!
-
We'll be on Freedom of the seas, so that means starbucks is included?? I didn't even know!
-
So i was looking at princing, and theres less than a 2$ difference between both. I what can you get more with the ultimate... and where? i saw that you can get like iced coffees and stuff? where would i get that?. I would like to know what people who get the ultimate package order thats not available in the other packages. We're going to go for the ultimate since its like 10$ more, but i just want to make sure i can take advantage of everything it offers!
-
thank you! i had no idea milk was free. so i guess they wont really need a drink package then!
-
I just saw that the drink packages are on sale for our sailing. Me and my husband can take advantage of the packages ( we like our booze :) ) but i`m wondering what to get for the kids? we have 3 kids ages 8 - 4 - 2. They drink juice, water, milk , chocolate milk. They dont drink pop. Can we get get milk, juice and chocolate milk at windjammer? ( we've only sailed with Celebrity and we could get it there) If so then would they even need a package? Im thinking the only time it might be an issue is in the MDR. am i right?
