I have Cricket (subsidiary of AT&T) and it works quite well with Voom. The AT&T store guys wouldn't know anything about the on ship experience, right @mpoole3

And I spent 25 years as a Customer Service Supervisor for a major nationwide retailer.  Someone coming at me (or my staff) with attitude never got what they wanted.  If you asked with respect and a cool head, we went out of our way to make you happy.  

Great review!  I was actually on this sailing with you and also had a great longer weekend!  That 4th night is so much nicer than those 3 night weekends.    Enjoy Wonder, that is pretty sweet trade out you got!  My next is Harmony 8 night in Jan - Poole Class JR suite...

The fog seems to sit low on the water.  I'm sure there times when it does impact the airport as well but it seems to be very localized.  If a ship were to launch a drone 100' above the ship there would probably be no fog.  
Yes, many people miss flights coming off cruise ships when fog impacts the port.
The port of Tampa and the local pilots are very cautious.  In 1980 a cargo ship hit the previous bridge knocking a section of it into the bay killing 35.  When there is any fog or adverse weather present they cease operations. 

Update...we are to check-in 8 hours after the original time with sailing at 11 pm. We made the best of the day.

@mpoole3We ended up at Hattricks for about three hours and had a great time. We shared a section of the center bar with a couple on our sailing and two Delta pilots as South Carolina took it to Clemson. Now to make the day complete, Vandy has to take care of the Vols. 🤣🤨

American Social is a great option for football!   But sometimes can be slightly loud on weekends..  I miss Tampa so much.  

Thanks for these great comments! If anything, it's helping pass the the time. The Royal Comms team sent an update that they will post more info at 3 pm. I've been tweeting a bit with Jim Van Fleet, and reading between the lines on one if his comments is that there is a risk this could extend overnight. So, will leave luggage with the bellman at the current hotel with a thought to moving to the Westin...and @mpoole3, I walked by your old apt building (at least I think so) about an hour ago. Now, I need food and a sports bar to watch football.

Definitely maybe.
It really depends on the CK host/hostess and what load they are seeing.  They are typically hesitant to do much on night one because they don't have a feel for the guest trends that cruise.  Sometimes CK is in high demand and sometimes enough suite guests have the UDP or don't use CK for whatever reason.  The host/hostess doesn't know on day one if that week is going to be a popular CK week or a slow CK week.  I have a suite cruise in December with the UDP and I may not go to CK at all that cruise.
Try on day one but take it night by night.  Come day 2 or 3 ask again.

The biggest disappointment when twitter took down periscope was the lack of @mpoole3 drunk scopes at 1am.   Those would never have occurred without unlimited DX.
