  1. Thanks! Our friends did call in and link them. How far out can you make those reservations? Once paid in full? 60 days?
  2. We're cruising with friends on Royal for the first time in January. We've all selected My Time dining. Will they be able to accommodate 2 families (8 people) fairly easily, or will we be waiting awhile. I assume going earlier or later will help things? Not sure how the whole MTD thing works...
  3. I 100% expect royal to cancel March today or tomorrow. It's the first week after passing the 90 day deadline for the March cruises to be paid in full, so now they cancel and keep the $ as FCC. IIRC NCL's PIF deadline is further out than Royal's is, so they could cancel March earlier.
  4. I had a post on this in another thread a couple days ago. Can a 12yr old be "waivered" into the teen area? I'm not sure my 12 year old will want to be with the little kids any more than the little kid parents want him there.
  5. Thank you all so much! I need to go set someone straight! Glad we have some flexibility on the booking. Our intention is to keep it, but this gives me some peace of mind ?
  6. I just posted on this topic. Did you get a refundable deposit for that Panoramic Suite? I asked for the same, but now I'm being told my deposit is NOT refundable.
  7. Hi All - Question about deposits. We're experienced cruisers, but have not sailed with Royal. Last Feb I found a killer deal for a Panoramic Suite on Freedom for Spring Break '21 and booked it. Super excited. At the time, our TA asked me if we wanted a refundable deposit fare, and I said yes. Frankly, I was surprised by the question...we've always had refundable deposits... Anyway, fast forward to earlier this week that when I was paying our next cruise off (not Royal) I looked at our Royal booking and lo and behold there is now a disclaimer on the booking that says deposit not refundable. This was NOT on the same paperwork they sent me when I booked it. I have a copy of this in my email. I ask TA about it and they call Royal and Royal says no, that's a refundable fare. You're good to go, we'll remove that line from your reservation on our website. OK, cool. Then Wednesday I get a voice mail from a supervisor there, that says, well we made a mistake and that deposit is non-refundable, but if you want a refund, we'll fight on your behalf to get it. Brutal. Does anyone know if the Panoramic Suites have refundable deposits? Everything I can find online seems to say Grand Suites and above are all non-refundable, but I can't find anything concrete about the Panoramic Suites. I wanted to wait until next summer to make a final call on this cruise depending on vacation funds. Thanks everyone.
