  1. The excitement meter just keeps rising!!! Only 13 days till my family and I are back on a Royal Caribbean ship!!
  2. Only 34 days till our vacations start!!! Has anyone who booked a GTY stateroom been notified of their room yet? A stateroom number does show up after scanning our boarding pass barcode. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a concert answer yet. Also, has anyone been notified if their bid on an upgrade; has been rewarded? I keep checking to see if we were lucky enough to get one. Either way, we can’t wait to get this vacation started!!!!
  3. Thank you Luly! My daughter is on the smaller percentage scale as well. We will be sure to pack some crib sheets and our pack N’play pad.
  4. Going on Oasis of the Seas out of Miami April 23-30. My wife and I will be bringing our daughter who will be 1.5 years old. First time cruising with a baby so not sure what to expect. Has anyone used the crib/Pack N’play that Royal Caribbean provides? Debating if we should bring our pack N’play mattres top. If the one provided is not comfortable I would hate to have her not get good rest. I’m guessing she will be so tired with all the fun and activities we will be doing that she will just pass out on anything. But if anyone has any insight please let me know.
  5. It was my dilemma as well. My wife and I are boarding the Oasis this April. It will be our first cruise with our daughter, who is 1.5 years old. We were not wanting to drink a lot of alcohol due to having our daughter with us, so we decided to purchase the Refreshment Package during RCL Black Friday sale for $165 per person, which included the gratuities. However, this past week my wife and I talked about our upcoming cruise and what our alcohol consumption would be. I saw that the Deluxe Package was $72.99 per day per person, which was the price during the Black Friday sale. The total cost is $602 per person with gratuities for the Deluxe Package. So I did some math and saw the difference between the Refreshment Package and Deluxe Package came out to $437. If you divide the difference by seven nights, that comes out to $62.43 a day. So we would have to drink just about 4.5 drinks each, every day, to break even. We looked at each other and said that we could do it. That amount of alcohol is not large, in our opinion. It would be two drinks on the pool deck, two more at dinner, and one at a show. We will most likely just be breaking even, but the peace of mind and not seeing that bill keep growing on my stateroom tv is very appealing to me. Ultimately we bought the Deluxe Package and are happy with our decision!!! 56 days until we get our first drink and see that $0 on the receipt!!!! Another thing I love about the Deluxe Package lol.
  6. My wife, daughter (who will be three months shy of 2 years old), and I are booked in a Jr. Suite aft of the ship. This will be our first time staying in a room other than an Interior or Balcony. We decided to book this room for the extra large balcony since it’s on deck 6 and aft of the ship. Plus, the Jr. Suite price was not much different than a regular balcony. Has anyone stayed in a Jr. Suite with an extra large balcony aft of the ship? Curious to get your thoughts on it.
  7. Thank you very much for the recommendations! Luckily we have changed our dining to the Early Dinning Time. A tablet or phone will be on the ready with Sesame Street or Cocomelon to keep her distracted while we eat our meals. One of the first things we will do when onboard is reserve time slots in Adventure Ocean for her. When we go to our Specialty Restaurants, we will have her in Adventure Ocean. That way, my wife and I can enjoy the restaurant and have a Date Night. Those are few and far between these days. Would you recommend hitting up Adventure Ocean first to reserve time slots or going to a Specialty Restaurant first? Not sure what usually fills up quickly. This way we know what times we need to book at each place. So EXCITED that we are just a short span away from cruising once again!!!
  8. We are in the 80s day left category until embarkation!!! Wife and I haven’t been on a cruise since pre-pandemic and now we have grown the family by one. Taking our 1.5 year old daughter which will make the trip completely different but we are just as excited!! Have any of you traveled with children and if so any advice?
