Personally I am done with Jamaica. This is a port where we stay on the ship now. Grand Cayman has the ever popular 7 mile Beach. Easy to get to and totally safe. Our favorite excursion in Cozumel is Isla de Pasion. This is a short bus ride and an even shorter ferry ride to an uninhabited island off of Cozumel. Interesting fact about Isla de Pasion: This is where ad companies shoot Corona beer commercials, you know, a whole new latitude and such. Last western cruise we went on last year did not offer this but I think it was because we were on a complete charter (whole Brilliance OTS) with special celebrity outings. (Note: I just googled this one and it may be more heavily commercialized that I remember from a few years ago)

Yeah! What she said. My wife thought it was ok and I hated it. I personally believe that the Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers are a bit weak in their acting skills and they are the interactive performers for this one night a week event in Giovanni's Table. I was embarrassed for them. One of the waiters kept whispering clues into my ear but he was unaware that I was deaf in that ear so it just seem to me like some stranger was blowing in my ear while the "talent" was practicing their bad accents. I would be two steps ahead of your husband if my wife was to book this again. We did like the food and we went back for more on subsequent nights.

So how do you get this "small amount of free wifi"?

I've got a lot more vacation time than my wife does. Been tempted to just pick up and do a short solo cruise. Does RCL have any small cabin accommodations where they do not charge you double? Thoughts on this? Rich

Disney seems to add class to everything they do. Their slides look cool and well integrated. Carnival just looks tacky.

Royal Caribbean would tell you nothing before noon. As one who as been on ships delayed getting into port, I would be nervous about flying out too early. One such cruise made national news for a few days last Feb. The Fog Cruise with Urban Meyer. GOBUCKS!!!!

It must be ship's systems related. We did 2 cruises last year 2 weeks apart. Both soda packages bought in advance. Brilliance of the seas in Feb was a sticker. Freedom two weeks later in March was printed in the card.
