The Cruise planner is NOT available on the app. It is mainly through the actual website. Being able to book excursions just came on the app recently.
Also, as a point you should always book at a price you are comfortable with and not wait. $8.99 for a soda package is better than $12.99. It may be $9.99 for Balck Friday as not everything will be on sale or at a price you like. With rampant inflation and supply chain issues, who knows what the prices will be in month from now.

It really depends on your sailing.  Had three booked last year during BF and only one had a real deal...The other two just had Royals fuzzy math.

Fuzzy, misleading, whatever you want to call it.  A consumer sees a % off that is higher % than when they purchased it they expect the end amount to cost less.  It is common sense.  Unfortunately Royal changes the cost of the product and then the % off, that is why it is "fuzzy" or "misleading".  Not everyone knows to look at the bottom line of the cost.  The final icing on the cake is the inability to put a product in your cart to see the new price once you have purchased it.  So I'll vote with "fuzzy" and "Misleading", if there was transparency we'd see the actual bottom line price regardless if it was purchased or not.

I’m not a fan of RCs non-sale sales either but it is not false advertising.  It means what it says.  You pay full price, $98 for the first package and get the second 50% off so $49.  Add them together, divide by 2 & you get just about $72.99pp.  

Check todays non-sale.  It’s probably back to what it was 7/30. The sales have not changed much in the past year.  Mine has been $78 off sale and $72 on sale since I booked the cruise!

Hello everyone!
We booked our cruise, on allure of the seas, which departs on August 28 back in early November 2021. As the cruise has gotten closer I found that my unease about whether or not we will all test negative has increased. It will be my husband and I and my two adult children, neither who live with us.
 I spent so much time thinking of every scenario, getting them tested 11 days before so we can get a certificate of recovery, or what if they or us get Covid before the cruise and will there be enough recovery time to get a negative before the cruise. It has caused more tension and then I was aware of?
For whatever reason, and maybe I’m the only numbskull who did not have this occur to her before now, but it came to me today, if anyone of us in the family test positive  and therefore can’t board the cruise, we will still have our vacation! We already have our flights to Fort Lauderdale, from different parts of the country, and I have decided I will start searching for a back up plan. The most important thing was us going together as a family , on a vacation, and not really the cruise itself. Though the cruise would be unbelievable!
So, for those of us who are sweating it out, if you haven’t  been already done so, consider keeping your vacation time as well as the vacation participants in tact and do something different!!!

The cruise ships do not have Donuts.  They are round and look like donuts but they are not donuts.  One bite and they get thrown away.  It is kind of bad bread.  😞
 

On Wonder in March. I had last cabin on deck 10 port side, and it was "Wonder"-ful!

We were in the room right next to this room on Harmony and had a pretty good view of the show as well, was trying to get the last room but someone beat us to it. In April we are sailing on Wonder and have the last room directly across from your room and pretty excited about it 😃   Not only to you get the show but you get some great ocean/port views as well

These pictures are from Symphony of the Seas Cabin 10139.  That is the last cabin on the 10th floor.  I watched the show multiple times during the week.  The high wire walkers started right next to my room.  

You want a room as far aft as possible! 

I've look from the aqua theater towards the boardwalk room to also see if there's is a room (not aqua theater room) that has a good view of the aqua but I couldnt really find one. The cleanest view I think is deck 8,9,10 and maybe 12 but that might too high to see what's going down in the theater on either cabins x727 x327.

Sea bands may not work for everyone but they worked for me! I bought them a few years ago when traveling with my uncle who gets very seasick and they worked for him on that trip. I don't usually get seasick but I did one one night of our recent cruise (rough, stormy weather) and found them still in my toiletry bag. I do think they need to be snug enough to really leave an indent on the inside of my wrist.

I use tripinsurance.com as well. No issues and less expensive than Royal. 

There are many places to get travel insurance.  I use tripinsurance.com, but others use Allianz, or insuremytrip.com, among many others.  Just keep checking around.

Yes that makes sense, you were beside us at Cozumel as our Captain commented the ship was coming to Galveston in November, but just pulled up the email copy of my final bill from last week and no refund on it, will have to watch the cc for a refund

I have two answers to the question:
1.  Chops, the Ribeye Steak AND the pork belly appetizer. 
2.  Any venue that serves bacon!

In the past, we have seen towel stations as you exit the ship too!

We were on Independence in November and had no issues. Staff was great as always and food was good. Maybe just an off day. 🙃
