Black Friday always seems to have the best deals. Snagged unlimited digital and photo prints for $99!  We were taking A LOT of photos!

I heard that Royal hired some rebellious youth who paint freeway overpasses at night in between cars.
They got Wonder painted in 15 minutes.

In my small dataset over the years, I've noticed the BOGO 1/2 Off never lined up with the 'base' price. The 20% and 30% always did. I gave up lol.

My personal experience is that the Black Friday sales around Thanksgiving seem to offer some of the best discounts as opposed to other sales offered throughout the rest of the year...I've saved a lot of money buying/rebooking packages during that week pretty consistently.
For the above reason, I always attempt to book a sailing in a timeframe that allows the Thanksgiving sale to occur before the cruise departs.
Happy sailing everyone...and don't let the goofy RCCL "math" make you crazy, just use the sales to your advantage. 🙂 
 

I believe original onboard price was 103.99.( I'm not kidding) They bumped it to 105 but did not change the Buy one get one 50% off price....You can't make this stuff up!...😂

Am I missing something? I thought I heard somewhere that drink package prices for Royal is different for different sailings. Maybe that's only for the Deluxe package. Meaning a "good" price is hard to compare unless it's for that particular sailing. Same ship and sailing date only. Fuzzy pricing. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Any chance we see the DBP in the mid-$50s range that everyone says they got at one time?  I know it is all speculation, but just wonder what folks thought.
Also, far too many get confused by the pricing and it just should not be so. But for them to say "for me it is confusing" is their truth. I am a newbie to sailing on RCCL and to these boards, but since I have been online, it seems like every few days someone is asking for pricing clarification and that should say something about the way RCCL prices their add-ons. It may seem very clear to some and at the same time very confusing to others. I myself am not confused with the pricing, but you have to admit, there is some pricing gamesmanship played out by the RCCL marketing department.

I did soda package for 2 at $8.99. (Will look Black Friday to maybe get down to $5.99) Who knows. Will see. As long as I can get this price refunded to my card, why not try right. Also got a 12pk of water for $11.99. Hey a buck a bottle and I don't have to carry it on. Lol.

GTY assignment reveals aren't based on that.  There's really no trick to getting an earlier assignment.  Once you're within 45 days if you still don't have an assignment sometimes when you scan the SetSail pass barcode with a barcode reader it will give it away.  
That's the thing with Royal...50% off may be $12.99 while 30% off is $8.99.   You've got to ignore the % off always and just look at the bottom line for pricing.
