cdixon22 reacted to Thumper44 in Better Resource for RC Ship info?
It surprises me how difficult it is to get a straight answer to the following kind of questions:
which ships have which Broadway/Westend shows? which ships have an escape room? or a puzzle break game? which ships have El Loco Fresh or a Playmakers? which ships have an ice rink? or a flowrider? which ships will visit Cococay or Labadee this year? etc, etc, etc RC advertises all of these things on its websites and emails but they are often surprisingly vague about which ships have exactly which offerings.
This seems like a fairly simple database problem, which I'm attempting to build for my own satisfaction.  But so far, the closest resource I've found is the charts and lists at loyaltoyoualways.com. Upon closer inspection, however, I was surprised to find errors and omissions there.  And it's not updated very often, sometimes just annually, often not completely.  Finding a few errors there sends me searching the message boards and youtube videos for recent firsthand accounts to verify what is currently available on a ship or not.  I am looking for a resource of ship data that is more comprehensive and more accurate than this.  Does one already exist?
Thanks for your help on this; the Royal-obsessed among us who want to track down every Mason Jar, Wonderland, or Samba Grill appreciate your help!

I found the following this weekend while searching online. I don’t remember where I saw this link, but this seemed very helpful and is marked as being updated as of 12/2022. Maybe RCCL keeps this up to date?

That just may be your personal opinion.
Most cruisers that I know, if they eat Lobster, really enjoyed the traditional lobster all you can eat night on cruise ships.
I do understand that is simply a cost cutting measure, just like most Hotels now limiting daily cleanings

RIU is a chain of all inclusive resorts, including a location in Nassau.

There are a few good ones from Resort for a Day.
I recently did the one at the Warwick and it was nice. I liked that it was all-inclusive as opposed to having a limited food and beverage credit. The only downside is that the resort is located on the harbor side of Paradise Island instead of the ocean side, but it was still really pretty and had a nice pool.
I also accidentally ended up at RIU Palace for a few minutes (another day pass resort) while trying to escape a sudden downpour at the beach. I was totally not supposed to be there without a day pass and left quickly, but it looked super nice and is located on Cabbage Beach, one of the best beaches in Nassau.
The Pearl Island cabanas look great, too, so that would also be a good option. I'm headed to Pearl Island in April to check it out, although not in a cabana.
We have a few reviews on day passes:

I have just had an experience with this lot and wanted to vent my thoughts. What an appalling outfit this lot are:

I made a booking over the phone with Royal Caribbean directly. When we got the details of the booking through, there was no mention of the food and drinks packages I'd agreed to. Six (6) weeks, 4 calls, 8 emails and still no response, I finally got to speak to someone who said there was no mention of the packages in our booking phone call. I asked to listen to the recording and they refused. Essentially, they sell you a package over the phone, quote you a cost, then excludes items and you have no recourse. Unbelievably, the manager I eventually spoke to asked if I wanted to add the drinks and food packages in to the booking at double the price they originally were! I said I would cancel the booking and he said there is a queue of people on a waiting list so it didn't matter.
So, I am cancelling a £15,000 cruise on the back of an appalling customer service experience - looking at the other reviews it doesn't look like the care less.
This is by far and away, the worst of the worse of companies and I beg any reader to avoid at all cost.

Oftentimes, the C&A discount is superseded by a different/better discount.  Only the "best" discount will apply, in most cases.  A while back I recall that C&A came out with a statement that the C&A discount would be honored, even if a better discount was available (IOW, the C&A discount could be "stacked" with other discounts) but I don't think that ever truly came to fruition.
Here is an example of how your invoice might look with a C&A discount (labeled here as a "balcony" discount...same thing)

Sometimes discounts ARE stackable with the C&A balcony discount.  It's very arbitrary which ones will and won't stack (and I have no idea how to figure out which are and which aren't !).  Here is an example where both a casino and military discount were stackable with the C&A balcony discount.  Note that the C&A balcony discount was somewhat reduced (from $125PP to $113 PP).  Frankly, I think a lot of it depends on who you get on the phone when you book !

Wet Wendy's for sure.....cant wait to get back there in a few weeks!

There is so much to see and do in Cozumel....we just take a cab up as far as  Pancho's Backyard usually  and then make our way back leisurely stopping where ever we want to or what catches our eye... The usually cab it back to the port after wrapping up our visit to the Huge Grocery store there.
