They always stay separate. You only get the point for cruises you actually sail. The person with the highest point total in the relationship will determine status. But point totals stay the same. Example I have 179 points but my partner has 53. He gets the diamond plus status but not my points and they don't combine points.

So does your partner get their own drink vouchers loaded to their sea pass card when you cruise together?

Are you going on your own next month? If so try getting an all inclusive resort day pass. I liked the RIU, mainly because it's adults only. But if you're going with family who has not been to Nassau before, they may be interested in seeing the island. There's always the option for you to do one thing and your family do something else too.

    What is RIU?

I know a few weeks ago you could go in and apply your FCC to an existing reservation. I am trying to find that link now, but everything I see says I have to call to do it. Does anyone know if there is still a way to redeem online for an existing reservation? I have eleven to redeem and would rather not try to relay those numbers and letters over the phone, lol.

Looks like you have to call or contact TA on existing reservation. Found this on RCL site

My personal experience is that the Black Friday sales around Thanksgiving seem to offer some of the best discounts as opposed to other sales offered throughout the rest of the year...I've saved a lot of money buying/rebooking packages during that week pretty consistently.

For the above reason, I always attempt to book a sailing in a timeframe that allows the Thanksgiving sale to occur before the cruise departs.

Happy sailing everyone...and don't let the goofy RCCL "math" make you crazy, just use the sales to your advantage. 🙂

100%. And just look at bottomline price not percentage off.

I’m not a fan of RCs non-sale sales either but it is not false advertising.  It means what it says.  You pay full price, $98 for the first package and get the second 50% off so $49.  Add them together, divide by 2 & you get just about $72.99pp.

I know right. I was a math major and can’t figure their fuzzy math. 🤣. Sale no sale. I always ignore the percentages and look at total price in cart and buy if I think it is worth it to me!
