I am also on Allure right now and not amused that a huge section is closed for seamingly the entire cruise. They also closed one of the bigger pools today too. RC really should have disclosed this, two large areas not available but then less people would have booked on it. I do like Royal, this is my 2nd cruise with them, but this stuff is a real face slap.

Having used it for a little under a day, I can say without a doubt its faster than the old stuff which I used in 2019. While browsing reddit I barely notice a difference then when at home on wifi. I won't be streaming Netflix or downloading large files on it but don't need to. My wife and I got it through the key, for only $17.99, each, and totally worth it.

I just got onto Allure of the seas and connected to the internet and it says the provider is Starlink. Not sure if that is well known yet but I can confirm it's activated now.
