Another option is the Seattle Express. $20 each for Adults/$15 each for children (under 5) for shuttle service from the Pier to the Airport/Airport Area Hotels.

Some taxis offer a flat rate to the airport.  I walked out of the cruise ship terminal one time and a taxi driver saw me looking up rates on a ride share app.  He offered a flat rate $50 to the airport which was around the same as the rideshare at that moment but it saved me from walking to the rideshare area so I jumped in the cab.

My lyft xl was around $80 to and almost $100 coming back.  I literally watched the surge pricing kick in as we were waiting for our bags going and getting through customs leaving (I think it was around $60 when I first loaded the app to check both times).
We did have 4 in our group so it was still cheaper than any shuttle overall.  But if you are only traveling with 2 you might want to look at the shuttles more closely as they might be cheaper.

Honestly have been waiting for this to happen. Just because I know other cruise lines have dropped Skagway from their itinerary out of concerns for safety. We have the train booked as well but I have heard it’s completely shut down for the season because of the rockslides. Not sure if this is accurate. Royal hasnt said anything and hasnt cancelled the excursion yet

I'm on the August 1st sailing and like you this is my first time in Alaska. I loved Ketchichan, we went to the Rainforest Sanctuary and saw eagles and bears close by. Yes, I was disappointed on not visiting the glaciers, but many cruises have not been able to go neither because of the intense fog. We didn't cancel because it has already been canceled 3 times (1 pandemic, 1 Singapore and 1 Covid) and I was like "I'm going no matter what". So, enjoy the breathtaking views and have an amazing trip.

I am looking forward to Ketchikan! We know we will be seeing Mendenhall glacier as well so we are still happy!

Ketchikan is a great addition to your itinerary!
Endicott/Dawes is a 4 hour (at best) stop inside the strait and for viewing only.  Although we LOVED the Dawes Glacier because we were early risers and sat at the outdoor seating of the Windjammer to view while eating, another port day might have been cool too.  Too many people complained on the Endicott/Dawes day because by the time they woke up, we were already leaving the strait. LOL

@Jordyn I am super sorry to hear about the test. Bummer.  But very glad to hear that they were able to resked for you.  Sounds like you scored an upgrade.  A balcony room on an Alaskan cruise is definitely a good thing !
As a general rule, Cruise Planner purchases are never recoverable, meaning that you cannot move those purchases to your new booking.  If the blankets are not available for your new sailing, likely you will not be able to get them through Royal. However….just b/c they’re  not showing up right now doesn’t mean they won’t show up later.  Keep checking !

Enjoy your cruise and get well soon !
