My first cruise was with Holland America, on the MS Westerdam. Liked it but didnt love it. My first cruise with RCI was on the Voyager of the Seas back in 2000 (their inaugural sailing for this class) and ever since have been sailing RCI. I want to try Celebrity which I may do this Summer. Ive also tried Princess but i still prefer RCI.

I normally keep the daily activity sheets they give out each night. love looking through what the port summary is and what shops they recommend to shop in, etc!

I havent done a Caribbean cruise in a long while. But I recall in Labadee, I go a kayak and paddled around with my now wife. There is a nice walk that can be done and some (maybe not so PG) shopping stalls. As for Jamaica, what port are you stopping at? I was in Ocho Rios and went to the Dunns River Falls excursion. That was a blast.

The White Pass & Yukon train excursion in Skagway is highly recommended. Its such beautiful place to be. In Juneau, Mendenhall glacier is easy to get to even without an actual excursion. Juneau itself is a nice walk with pretty good shops. I didnt care of the Sled Dog camp excursion, I thought it was expensive for what you get out of it.

Sailed out of Venice 3 years ago on RCCL Splendor of the Seas. It was a great cruise and I would highly recommend it. Got up real early on our disembarkation day to take some great pictures of St Marks Square when its empty. Thinking of going on the Serenade this year out of Barcelona which includes 2 days in Venice. Would love to visit this port again via cruise boat
