  1. Thanks, Friends! I'll try a different browser. (why didn't I think of that?)...and yes, it's happening across multiple devices.....Oh well, the Important thing is, the Cruise is "booked".......now we need to find a short one between now and then. Appreciate all the input, I'll let ya'll know if the different browser works ;) Rob
  2. Hello Friends! Has anyone had issues with log in screens for My Cruise, and C&A Log in? Booked FOTS 6 night for 01-28-18 this past Thursday evening (on-line). Now cannot log into either. Password reset does not work. Receive the reset email, click the link, takes me to log in screen with red message saying I've already used the password reset option, "please log in". LOL........I would if I could. CSR duplicated the issue. Sent ticket to IT department. This is the 2nd time in my short relationship with RCCL this has occurred. The last time, I was supposed to receive a phone call when the problem was corrected. That never happened. Thursday night it let me log in, made the reservation, paid deposit. Never received acknowledgement or invoice receipt. Tried to log back in, couldn't. If Cindy and I didn't have such a "wonderful" first cruise with Royal BOTS out of Tampa last year, I'd be looking at another company. I know Royal is better than this........What's the luck I have called? OH, I can't say it in here. ;) Out of the millions of web accounts they must have, I get lucky to have issues twice, when attempting to give them money....... LOL. Anybody seen this in the past? Is it just luck of the draw? I need a "STELLA". Where's MPOOLE3? I feel like calling the CSR's and saying "I know Jarvis", or " I know Matt".... or "AreBee is my neighbor".....LOL Would if I really thought it would help! ;) Thanks friends, for allowing me to vent! ;) I'm sure this too, shall pass......... Rob-o
  3. Did someone say "drink"?????? Count me in. ;) Jerel, I'll be there with ya man! "I got's biggole shoulders". LOL Matt can vouch for that! ;)
  4. Hi Tony. You should be able to find all the info on : wwww.royalcaribbeanblog.com/events Good Luck! Rob
  5. I recall a periscope from MPOOLE, I believe it was somewhere around the pool bar.....Wasn't sure if he was going to be molested......live.......or by whom.......LOL the look on his face was priceless.........Wish I had a recording of that scope....it was late in the evening and obvious that everyone was "having fun". I laughed till I almost cried as Michael tried to sign off, as another would walk up behind him and start the series all over again...If someone got a recording of that, please forward it. ;) Really enjoy keeping up with all you guys....and...BTW....Brilliance of the Seas, MDR Service and Staff, 2nd to none. Cindy and I honestly don't see how RCCL could do any better than our first cruise. Here's to a GREAT New Year!
  6. Carney, We're not "cheap", we're "frugal". ;) $8 is 2/3 of a drink. hahahah
  7. First and foremost, enjoy your cruise. Cindy and I had our first cruise this past January on BOTS out of Tampa. We're only 35 miles from the port and it was a quick 4 day "first/test" cruise for us. WE LOVED HER! People call her a small ship, for a first cruise, we found her to be massive, and there was plenty to keep us busy. We reviewed the MDR in one of these forums. Food and service all over the ship were way above our expectations. BOTS was built to allow guests to see the ocean from very much of the inside of the ship. We will try larger ships, but look forward to more 'quick' trips on Brilliance. Have Fun!!!!
  8. Great Meet Up this morning at Starbucks, Disney Springs. Thanks so much Matt. Was nice meeting you and your family in person, along with the other RCCLBLOG'ers. My "much" better half, Cindy can't wait till the next one so she can attend as well. Keep up the GREAT work Matt. It is appreciated. Rob
  9. I'm sure you'll have a GREAT time........and won't have problems finding a bar close to the room. ;) We enjoyed our drink packages on Brilliance of the Seas this past January. Have a GREAT trip and most of all, have "fun". ;) OH BTW. When we boarded the ship at Cozumel, with 2 bottles, they took the bottles prior to boarding and didn't give a receipt. I thought that was a little strange as we paid quite a bit for the bottles. I'm turning them over and NOT getting anything in return. He assured me we'd get the bottles evening prior to departure. We did. :)
  10. Hey Neighbor........ Auburndale here. We carried water in our carry on Jan 7th this year out of Tampa (Brilliance). NO PROBLEM. I posted about it, below. You 'should' be ok. Rob
  11. Cindy and I were on BOS, Early January this year. We carried 2 bottles of wine (as allowed, but never opened them), and a 12 pack of bottled water. Going through the scanning machine, the security lady stopped the belt. I assumed it was to have a closer look at my CPAP machine due to the electronics involved. As she "studied" the screen, I commented......it's a CPAP. She didn't seem phased, so, I offered, and some water and 2 bottles of wine. She smiled, and started the belt. We were able to take the water without any other indication of trouble. I'd still get the letter from your Vet. Have fun on IOS.
  12. AGSLC5, Thanks so much for the link. I looked all over this site before posting the question. Even after Doc's attempt to help, saying it was "this site", I couldn't find it. Guess I'm getting too old for "hunting" on sites. lol . You're link took me "directly to the page". Thanks so much for your help, from an ole fart! Rob-o
  13. Thanks Doc, but it was, something www."somethng".TV or something like that. He said it one time during the scope. Thanks anyways.:) Rob
  14. Good morning All. Was watching yesterday, but missed where Mpoole was doing his live Blog. He gave the web address, but I didn't catch it. Anybody help? Thanks "ya'll". Rob
  15. Did "Scooter" change his SN? You guys shouldn't do that to an old man. lol
  16. Morning guys and gals! Cin and I traveled BOTS Jan 7-11, 2016. Wonderful "first" time cruise. We traveled with 10 other guests, all with "my time dining". When we all arrived at the MDR, we were asked if we would like to sit together. Reply was yes, if possible. Within 4 minutes, we were escorted to the far back corner of the upper level MDR (they knew we were trouble, lol). When we got to the table, it was only set for 10 guests. 2 of our party offered to sit close by, but there was no way the head waiter was going to allow that. She said, NO! and in less than a minute there was another table added and room for 12. It gets better.... Our Waiter, and assistant, were 2nd to none. I know these guys work for tips, but, they were sincerely "interested" in our group, and wanted to please. They also showed a sense of pride in and about what they were doing. Not deadbeat "here we go again" type of service. Two of our guests were young boys, 10 and 15. The boys had their food even before the adults order was taken. Amazing! The boys were able to ask for something NOT on the menu, and were not disappointed. They soon after went to the teen area of the ship, leaving the remaining time/dinner for adults. We love the kids, even though they are well behaved boys, surely they enjoyed NOT having to sit with 10 adults for over an hour. It's the little things the staff do, and did, that make a venue "special". Order taken. Grilled asparagus was awesome was offered as a side veggie. A couple of our people mentioned how pleased they were to the head waiter during her walk-around. Others in our group chimed in (it was awesome veggie). She smiled and said, "you all like it"?, "I'll make sure you all have Asparagus, for the group, tomorrow with dinner". Go Figure...talk about a happy crowd. Yes, the next evening, Asparagus "magically" appeared on 2 separate large plates as a veggie to be shared by the table. And, yes, every night thereafter. Yes, it was just as good as the first night. Now, to the nitty-gritty....The Food! Between the group, we had pretty much everything available on the menu. Starting with fresh baked assortment of dinner rolls....Pork, Duck, Fish beef and more. Homemade mashed potato's. What more could one ask for? lol. Everything was excellent, no complaints, and many empty plates. Our Waiter actually "built" a dinner for Cindy, when she was having trouble deciding, taking the best from different dinners. Cheese topped escargot was a surprise. I didn't ask to see if it was available without, but, sent back an empty plate. Deserts were enjoyed by all. The quality of the food made me think "why would anybody want to go to one of the other pay venues"...it was really that good. Cin and I will most likely have to try "chops" on the next cruise just to compare, but we don't see how it could be $70 better, really! Our waiter and assistant, both, had all of our names memorized AND what we drink, by the 2nd night. Unbelievable when you think of the number of people they work with during a 4 night cruise. The entire wait staff was smiling! Not only when around the tables...they honestly looked "happy" with their jobs.....I notice little things like that. There was a "stout" Black Man, bald, suit and tie, walking around that seemed un-interested in answers after asking how we were doing....every night within about 10 seconds of arriving to our table, he pulled his cell phone from his jacket as if answering a call, never received our responses, and walked away as if something more important was going on. It got to be a joke around the table. The last night he showed up, I picked up my cell phone and loudly said "yes, he's here".....looked at him, and said, "Grab your cell phone...you're fixing to get a call...." The whole table cracked up, and so did he.....then he walked away, like the other nights...We didn't need him anyways. lol The staff was doing a great job. We were NOT a rowdy group, 5 of us are over 60 and the entire group was well behaved. The group did not feel "rushed" in order to turn the table. Cin and I visited Windjammer for Breakfast and Lunch. Next cruise we'll try MDR for those when we can. Windjammer, after the 2nd or third meal, becomes blah, with the same "type" menu/buffet repeated. Maybe not the same exact food Items, but buffet food. We found that "filling", but nothing remarkable. To be noted: we found, by mistake, in the back of the ship where the bingo is played, a bar/lounge. In the late afternoon/evening there was a hot finger food bar there. I peeked... large fried coconut shrimp, cheese sticks and other warm items. I was surprised at the size of the shrimp. They sure "didn't scrimp on the shrimp". I found later they are the dinner size shrimp served in the MDR. It wasn't advertised, so keep an eye open for it, or ask...it was late afternoon. I didn't want to spoil dinner so I held off. lol Over all, we give the MDR an A++ for our experience. Over and above our expectations. Cin wants to go FOTS next.....the MDR will have a high standard to meet, much less beat.
  17. Hey Gang! Afterthought! Are we allowed to carry a small folding pocket knife onto the ship? It's the Swiss Army Knife. I'm so used to having it. It has a toothpick, small scissors, and is just "handy" to have. Leaving "TOMORROW". :) Thanks for any input. Rob-o
  18. :) We're on the TOP of the next cruise listing.

  19. Thanks for the question and the info Guys! Just spoke with Sprint. They offer texting while on the ship (which is considered international service). $.50 outgoing/$0.15 incoming. NOTE**** They "Strongly" advised turning off Cellular Data While on the ship. DATA rates are through the roof. Cin and I will use I-phones for Texting if needed. :) This will work well with the 3 other couples in our "group". There are certain settings that need to be made on your phone for use on the boat. Call your carrier and ask. Then, "HAVE FUN". Rob-o
  20. Doc, As a newbie 'hopefully' soon to be loyal RCCL customer, please keep us posted as to the resolution. We, Cindy and I, leave this Thursday out of Tampa, and are surprised to see how you've been treated thus far. Have fun, Stay Safe, and ENJOY time with family and friends. Rob-o
  21. Hi Jop, Yes, there are 4 different unlimited alcohol packages to select from. If you Google "Royal Caribbean unlimited drink packages", you should get a list of several links. If you find the link from "royalcaribbeanblog" from this past April, it is a GREAT read. I hope you enjoy your cruise. Our first is in 4 days, Jan. 7th, on Brilliance out of Tampa. We're pretty excited. I tried to place the link to the info you requested, here, but I'm too much of a newbie and couldn't get it to work. ;) Rob-o
  22. Jan. 7 2016 Brilliance out of Tampa. First Cruise for us. :P
  23. Hmmmmmm Guess I'm the normal one. LOL I knew all along Christie was the prettier one. Tomorrow means 1 week till Brilliance out of Tampa. Yayyyyyy! :D
  24. Hi Jon, Not real sure of your answer.....however, If I were in your shoes (pun intended), I'd call the Local Budget office. Sometimes, they'll deliver you to your "stop", just for renting their vehicles. Worth a try. :) Have fun. We're leaving on our first out of Tampa on the 7th. Brilliance. Rob-o
