  1. Question regarding what is available on Brilliance of the Seas. I looked around but could not find an answer. So hopefully someone who has sailed on her recently can help. Mrs. Claus and I mainly drink water (lots of water - upwards of 96oz a day each) . However, she does like fresh squeezed juice and smoothies. On Symphony in 2022 we could get juice, bottled water, as well as smoothies at the Vitality cafe. Is there an equivalent on Brilliance of the Seas or a place to get them? We are debating on whether on not to get the refreshment package or not. If they are not available, the refreshment package is probably not worth it - but we would be purchasing / pre-purchasing bottled water. Thanks in advance.
  2. Looking forward to an Alaska anniversary cruise with my wonderful wife. We will be celebrating our 34th on this one. Will be an adventure getting to Vancouver from NY. No easy way to get there from here. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
  3. My wife and I are in the same situation, although our cruise out of Vancouver is not till the end of August 24. It seems to me there is no nice, easy and cost effective way get to / from Vancouver from NY. I've looked at flying into SETAC and taking a train, shuttle, mule etc to Vancouver and it end up being the same price as flying into there. Coming back is worse. All the flights are either very early or very late in the day. First world travel problems for sure!
  4. The last cruise I was on, (not a RC line) there were very few children (the line catered to an older generation) - I got a huge reaction from the crew. They wanted pictures and would always shout Hi to Santa, the string quartet would play "Here comes Santa Clause" when we were walking by if they saw me. It was fun. This will be the first time on RC since I have become Santa, so it will be interesting to see how many believe
  5. Good morning everyone. I am a real bearded Santa, and will be taking Mrs Clause on a well deserved birthday vacation on the Symphony of the Seas Sept. 3. I know RC is very family / kid oriented and I expect the ship to have kids on board, but since it is sailing Sept 3 (Labor day weekend) on a 7 day cruise - any idea on how many? Reason I ask is I always carry "I was caught being good" coins with me to hand out to kids that kinda / sorta / maybe think its really Santa, but are not quite sure Love giving them the coin and going Shhhhhhh I just want to make sure I have enough with me. Thanks in advance. Santa John
  6. I want to thank everyone who has answered and contributed to this thread. We were on a different (gasp) cruise line that did serve high tea, and was wondering if RC did. Looks like they do not. Not that we need the extra food and calories anyway - but it is always a nice experience. Thanks to all.
  7. Just a quick question that I think I know the answer to, but have not seen it anywhere. Is a formal / high tea served on Symphony of the Seas? I could not find any reference to it anywhere so I am assuming no, but wanted to ask. We are sailing Sept 3, Eastern Caribbean. Thanks.
