According to Royal Caribbean: "Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom. Milk and distilled water brought on for infant, medical, or dietary use are permitted." Anthem of the seas - engine issue
Rochester Rich replied to Marga's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I just received notice that our January 2024 cruise schedule has been adjusted. "While we'll lose a little time in some of these stops" -- that'll be 5 hrs, if we're counting. "We've added an extra two hours in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas" Bottom line a missed port/extra sea day and 3 fewer hours in the other 4 ports. This engine problem is going to persists all summer in Europe and two trans-atlantics? From Royal Caribbean's email: To maintain a safe and comfortable speed along our journey, we’ll now have a sea day instead of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Additionally, we’ve adjusted our arrival and departure times for a few of our ports. While we’ll lose a little time in some of these stops, we’ve added an extra two hours in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas to explore everything this beautiful destination has to offer! We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by this. Nevertheless, we’re excited to sail away with you! Below, please find our revised Anthem of the Seas January 29th, 2024 itinerary. -
Took a day trip to Buffalo yesterday. Visited the Botanical Gardens, stopped at Rich Highmark Stadium (Go Bills) and made an unscheduled stop at Vidler's 5 and 10 in East Aurora. Sorry about the snow. Looks like Buffalo will win the season snowfall count again this year! To date we've barely reached 10 inches. I guess my plan to escape the bitter winter cold and snow is a failure. I'll have to try again next winter season! Nonetheless still looking forward to the cruise.

I wondered the same thing. Sure the suites sell quicker on trans Atlantic cruises but sold out over 18 months in advance? Tracy and I are likely to join the fun. Most of our cruising has been trans Atlantic and I have this one on hold. We were scheduled for Odyssey last year but Royal Caribbean cancelled the routing. By the time I went to Lift and Shift I'd miss the deadline by 6 days and RC wouldn't make an exception. Instead I ended up with 200 in cruise credit. As before this looks like fun.
