If you filter the search by each of those ships individually and then by cruise date, you will see that both Serenade and Radiance have nothing showing beyond September 2026, when they finish their summer seasons in Alaska.

I would expect at least one of them to do an eastbound Panama Canal sailing. Those tend to be unpredictable in terms of release dates and are sometimes simply put up for sale on random dates with no advance warning.

What they would do after the Canal transit is anyone's guess. I would like to see one of them do the longer 10/11 night Caribbean sailings from Florida over the winter, as currently the longest is 8 nights. 🤞However, given Royal's recent focus on shorter cruises that may be wishful thinking on my part. 🤔

As for Ovation, I would expect her to be doing the Singapore sailings. Those are due for release around the middle of next month.

I did this. I searched for Serenade only but she's still showing nothing for me beyond September of 2025

A local agent that says their the biggest cruise specialist has just overhauled their website.

Anthem and Voyager have their cruises there and  they  now have Enchantment in their search engine for Australia.

Could it be one of the Radiance class from Alaska???

Brilliance is there too... 🤔 Wonder what Royal are going to do with her.

What about when Serenade finishes her world cruise later this year? Do we know what they're going to do with her?

Seeing these itineraries and the deluded pricing attached to them is like seeing a boyfriend you've been thinking about breaking up with and he turns up with a man bun...yeaaaaah naaaaaah

If the pricing wasn't so high, it'd be easier to swallow, but South Pacific again... for basically a carbon copy of a ship we've had for the past 7 years is ridiculous. And an older carbon copy at that..

No, due to the size of the ship it does not tend to come here.

it used to be tendered but they have also used a temporary pontoon for docking.

It also disrupts the ferry service which is not very popular with the locals.

There were plans to build a bigger pier but people thought it would stick out too far into the harbour.

Hmm that's surprising seeing as how Auckland is New Zealand's largest city. When I was in Auckland last year visiting family, we went to Kelly Tarlton's and could see the Celebrity cruise ship across the harbour. It's very surprising that Picton and Napier both have ports big enough for Ovation, but Auckland doesn't...

@Jamesszy94 I think that is because cabin type is only available midship. When I look at the deck plan for available cabins it goes all the way from front to back.

these screen shots show what I mean, I selected the most forward and most rearward cabin and they are both identified as midship.

I guess that makes sense why it was considered "sold out"

Might book this one cause it has Dunedin...

In my experience this is near the cheapest they will be. There may be some price drops but usually they go up from here. We not in rush to book so time will tell if they have a real sale.

Hmm. If that's the case, I guess you have to have a massive amount of disposable income now if you want to afford a cruise on a Royal ship. Time to sail 👸. Anyone have any experience?

What are the chances that Anthem is sold out already? I did a mock booking for an oceanview and only the Mid was left. The aft and rear were both "Sold Out"..

Is this Royal's way of blocking out certain rooms so that TA's can sell them?

The pricing the suites on Anthem is WOW (and not in good way). Seems to be about double what we have been paying on Quantum.

The GLS we had on Quantum cost around $13,000 NZD in total, now that is the cost PP.

Probably cause the sailings are just new and those suites are often in high demand. I expect them to go down in the next few months

Not very exciting itineraries and we will have been on Voyager in Croatia in September.

Now we need to wait for Asia release to see if there is anything enticing there, it would be cool to try Spectrum at least once.

I would also like to try Spectrum. If I had to fly to anywhere to cruise, it'd be Singapore or Hong Kong, since they're places I actually like.

It was ‘amped’ prior to the last time it was in Aus for the 19/20 season. However the amplification was quite lackluster in my opinion. Added some slides, removed Johnny rockets, didn’t add any of the pool deck coolness added to navigator or mariner. Added more cabins and some were refreshed. It was still a nice ship, though I think it really needs another complementary eatery - ideally pool side - as literally there is only the cafe, buffet, and MDR.

Even if her amplification was lacklustre, honestly, it'll be nice to just have a bit of variety. We've had Ovation (not sure about Quantum) for like 7-8 years, it'll be a nice change... even if it does mean we have to fly to Brisbane for Voyager. Sydney getting Anthem is nice I guess... it is still a Quantum-class and it's basically a carbon copy of Ovation save a few differences.

Hoping Royal will give us Brilliance also and she'll alternate between Brisbane/Sydney. Honestly, the South Pacific, Queensland, Adelaide & Tasmania and New Zealand itineraries are getting boring. There's no variety. If we had a smaller ship like Brilliance, she could tender/dock in places like Norfolk Island, Tonga, Vanuatu, Fiji etc. At the moment from the "leaks" from a couple of days ago, it looks like the itineraries didn't change, and it's still South Pacific and New Zealand - I'm hoping Royal has a surprise up their sleeve, but I'm not holding my breath.

Me too! Definitely booking at least once, some longer South Pacific with extra ports from the usual would be perfect!

Maybe the Red Sea issue has worked in out favour this time, too hard to send it anywhere else so might as well keep it in Brisbane year round? I would definitely chose Voyager over Carnival Splendor and the P&O ships that are here in the winter.

I'm hoping Royal has some surprise ports on their South Pacific cruises. Hoping Fiji or Vanuatu.

It would be good if it does but who knows. I suppose no one else wants Voyager so we may as well take it.

I don’t know where they would send it in our off season.

I don't think it's that noone wants Voyager - It's probably just that Royal has nowhere to send her to. Assuming they're not going to send any ships to the Middle East/Red Sea region for the foreseeable future - so that rules out Voyager being sent there, and I doubt it'd go to Asia - since Asia would have 4 ships
