Hello! Any guesses, based on prior history, when we might see SUMMER 2021 open up for North American to Caribbean departure bookings? Mainly wondering if Oasis will continue to sail out of Cape Liberty for awhile longer? If not, we would be looking at Cape Liberty or Baltimore departures, going south, depending on ship and itinerary. Been a few years since we've cruised and I'm a little behind on things. oooh, thats interesting. I wonder if they were losing an excess amt of towels specifically on 'beach days.' I never really minded the towel monitoring process much. Unless its diff on other ships, we were always able to take as many towels as we wanted, as long as they ultimately got returned before the end of the sailing.

I took my first cruise with my (now) husband and in-laws in June (or July) 2005. DH (boyfriend at the time) and i were btwn our Jr and Sr year in college and my mother-in-law invited me to come on a 5 night to Bermuda with them, out of Baltimore, on Grandeur. At the time, I was a (very) poor college student and she asked me to pay half, which was only $300, and I knew NO ONE that had ever been on a cruise before but I was very close to turning it down because i definitely didn't have a spare $300 laying around at the time (again POOR college kid) - my friends told me i was crazy not to go so I asked my parents for a loan and to the ship we went. As a young kiddo, my parents had an old speed boat that we used to take out on the Allegheny in the summers and i loved it. I have always loved water and any type of boating (despite a near drowning incident i had as a young child, when we hooked up my snow tube to the back of above-mentioned speed boat and i got trapped underneath). From the moment i stepped foot on Grandeur in 2005, it was love at first ALL-THE-SENSES! Since then we've been on 3 (regrettably ONLY 3) and hope to go on our 4th in Fall '15 and (fingers crossed) we'll be Platinum C&A by the time that cruise is over!

I think at this point, I would be happy with a full detail deck plan; all the "?" locations filled in and in hopes of not pushing our luck, maybe a brief explanation for all areas unprecedented/unfamiliar.

I think this video would be far more accurate than any written description I could attempt... lol its not a great video, overall, but it gets the point across.

Hi Marc, I'm actually from Butler, PA (small world huh?) - what is this channel you speak of with Love Boat episodes on? I've been looking for old ep's of Love Boat everywhere, as a very recently former 20-something, I've never watched a single episode and it's been on my mind lately to try to track down season 1 episode 1 and start from there... I have Armstrong Cable so I may not have the same channels, but its worth a shot.

With Quantum being built at Meyerwerft, its hard to miss all of the excitement going on with Norwegian right now, as Getaway has recently launched/had her first passengers on board, etc... I was watching a youtube video of Kevin Sheehan 'introducing' Getaway, and he was talking about the "waterfront" feature on the Breakaway/Getaway and said: "as a matter of fact, I know one of the ships thats about to launch is copying that" Do you think we should expect to possibly see a 'waterfront' on Quantum? After seeing pictures of the waterfront concept on Breakaway, it looks like a really cool feature.
