New to cruising. I am wondering how early before "departure" do they put the gangway up and we have to be back on board at various ports?

We got ours somewhere between day 45 and 30. I can't remember exactly what day it was

RC gift cards

Has anyone ever paid your tab at the end of the cruise with a gift card or a digital gift card? Is it even possible to do?

My question is if I do reservations now and we get on the cruise and find that there is entertainment going on at the time we reserved...can we go to dinner earlier and just wait for a table? Will we get in trouble for not going to our reservation?

My husband and I are taking a cruise on July 17th. We are flying to Florida on the evening of the 15th. We want to spend a day at Universal before the cruise. What are my options when it comes to transportation to the port? We would rather not rent a car. We found that RC can pick us up from the airport but that seems silly to go from our hotel back to the airport to go to the cruise. Any suggestions other than Uber/Lyft??

Anyone going on this one? My husband and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary. It has been 15 years since I have been on a cruise and my husband has never been. So excited!!
