It's not really RCI's fault, in my opinion.  Galveston is just geographically challenged.    ?
Although I did happen to notice that next year Enchantment will be doing 2 7-night cruises, back to back, out of Galveston with stops in Key West, Nassau and Coco Cay....maybe they are testing the waters.
I live in Texas and absolutely detest air travel, so I love being able to drive down to Galveston and hop on a ship.  But I don't really care so much where it's going as long as it's a cruise.   ?

Assuming it's a Saturday, 15 minutes tops ..... it is literally a straight shot up I-95.  No city traffic whatsoever ..... now, during the week, @twangster is spot on... but even then, it's not too bad.  One of the true benefits of going out of Baltimore is the proximity of the port to I-95.  It's RIGHT THERE!!!  You get off at Exit #55 and it pretty much drops you into the port.  the second photo is an overhead shot of the Dockyard area in Bermuda .... the first one is Baltimore, you can see how close it is to I-95.  As a native of Baltimore, I've made that drive many times.

I stayed in one on Liberty once that was a last minute booking for a guaranteed inside cabin. It was more than double the size of the regular inside cabin. I’m not sure on harmony, you need to check. It had plenty of room for four people: a large bed, sofa bed, 2 bunk beds, a walk in closer, lots of drawer space. I’m sure it’s similar on harmony, but I would their website for square ft. On sq ft.

I just wish they would consider a stop in New Orleans or Tampa Bay, even Key West, than on to maybe the Cayman(to satisfy an Intl port), whatever combination, for one of their 4 and/or 5 night itinerary. I honestly don't see why that would be an issue. Make it happen Royal...show some versatility.

Very happy about Galveston getting a Voyager class ship for 4 and 5 night cruises

Still on !  We are in Nassau today...going to Coco Cay tomorrow then heading back.  Off on Sunday morning.  Then back to work.
The Cruise(s) has been wonderful.  Truly, a trip of a lifetime.  Our Genie, Yen is incredible.  So sweet and dedicated. She told us she was getting off for a while in Nassau today and going to eat some Chinese food. I hope she really enjoys her time off the ship. She works so hard.
I will do a sort of cruise highlight post when this is over. I don’t have the proper resources (laptop) with me to do it real time.  Dan absolutely loves the Q class and I do too.  I think I still prefer the O class but I think Dan is a convert. He loves 270. I admit...it’s pretty swell.

It does sorta seem that way, doesn’t it ?

Your up to signature, Great! Me, I'm fine with a free inside cabin with prime. I've stayed in a balcony 3 times before, the other 9 were inside cabins. They are fine. I just didn't sit out there that much. I need 2 more for Diamond Plus. That's more important to me

I do appreciate the suggestions, but this was more of an FYI. The advice about tipping in front of the pit boss and making sure they are tracking are both good. This was a compted trip from last years play. I will probably be on 2 more before March 31 when this years evaluation ends, so I don’t need 2500 points all on one cruise to hit prime again for next year.
The more $’s gambled the more points. I played next to at least 2 individuals who dropped $6000 plus at the blackjack table. I’m positive they already received status for next year. On the other hand, I played all week, probably close to 35 hours on a free trip, and ended up $50 on the positive side in the casino for a weeks worth of entertainment.

150% agree.  I call it a sense of purpose.  It does wonders for one's self esteem being able to support and provide for their loved ones.
In days immediately after Irma and St Thomas I talked to friends there who were under curfew even during parts of daylight hours.  Lying in bed with little to do is torture.

No complaints from me! I love sushi and I would have been drinking at the pub rather than the sports bar anyway.
