  1. FBI arrests a man in San Juan for recording passengers with a hidden camera in a cruise ship bathroom. This occurred in the Harmony of the seas between April 29th and May 1st. The hidden camera was located in a public bathroom near the pool deck. https://www.elnuevodia.com/noticias/seguridad/notas/fbi-arresta-en-san-juan-a-un-hombre-por-grabar-con-una-camara-escondida-en-bano-de-crucero/
  2. For our May 22nd itinerary, Skagway was replaced with Icy Strait Point. Received an email from RC today.
  3. Our May 22nd sailing is impacted. Just received the email about an hour ago. They switched Skagway to Icy Strait Point. A little bummed about it, but I understand things happen.
  4. I'm on the August 1st sailing and like you this is my first time in Alaska. I loved Ketchichan, we went to the Rainforest Sanctuary and saw eagles and bears close by. Yes, I was disappointed on not visiting the glaciers, but many cruises have not been able to go neither because of the intense fog. We didn't cancel because it has already been canceled 3 times (1 pandemic, 1 Singapore and 1 Covid) and I was like "I'm going no matter what". So, enjoy the breathtaking views and have an amazing trip.
  5. At least for our August 1st cruise the whole thing went very smoothly. Our check in time was at 11am. It was very organized. My recommendation is to have all your required documentation on hand to avoid delays or issues.
  6. I'm on the August 1st sailing and as of today (day 4th) the itinerary has remained with no issues. We received the OBC on Day 2 and it was more than what they are offering to the late August and September sailings. Yes, we miss not being able to view the glaciers, but so far we have enjoyed the cruise. Read today on James Van Fleet instagram that the Radiance was not able to visit Hubbard's Glacier due to fog. My friend went in July on the Norwegian Sun and they weren't able to visit the glaciers due to the fog too. So, In my humble opinion, RC decision on skipping the glaciers instead of shortening the time in the ports was a good call.
  7. I'm also sailing in August 1st and the credits are not posted.
  8. Don't worry about it. Eventually it will change status. Mine took approximately 4 weeks, while for another cruise it took 24 hrs.
  9. I wouldn't worry to much. For our cruise in August it took around 4 weeks for the vaccination status to change. While in our previous cruise on April it took 24hrs.
  10. Agree, why aren't the July itineraries impacted too?
  11. I read the article on Cruise Hive, but I nor my TA haven't received any communication from Royal in regards to my August 1st Quantum cruise. When looking at the app, Juneau seems to be missing. And in the website if you try to book this date Ketchichan is replaced by Skagway. So, there is conflicting information everywhere. One of many concern is missing already booked excursions due to port changes.
  12. Has anyone used a Certificate of Recovery instead of testing prior cruise? Is there a template available?
  13. We just boarded the Mariner of the Seas and used the CVS antigen test (used the phone to present results). No issues, the boarding process was a breeze. Just make sure you have all the required documentation.
