  1. While I completely agree with @monorailmedic about Mexican food being incredibly vegetarian friendly (seriously, I could make a meal out of guac and chips), I've had issues before finding things to eat (In Belize.. where our excursion was selling beef nachos and burgers.. blegh.)... something to consider might be to keep a (SEALED) protein bar/almonds/trail mix/etc. on you just in case (someone check me on this legally)... keep in mind fruit and produce may not be brought off the ship (I had a dog stop me once in Cozumel... in front of my future in laws... who probably thought I had drugs in my bag rather than a banana.)
  2. Try clearing your cache or using another browser... their website is notorious for being a little difficult sometimes.
  3. Yes - it's a shared shuttle, but still very comfortable. Actually, we were the only ones on the shuttle on our way to port from MCO, but shared with a very nice family coming from the Disney Dream on our way back.
  4. I don't think so.. I really want to get a GoPro for this type of thing. Doing more formal write-ups for the things I do have pictures for.. got a lot of great stuff on the Beach Loungers.
  5. Just off of Majesty of the Seas... just wanted to write a quick review on the Rainbow Reef Snorkel. My friend and I booked this via Royal Caribbean on the Cruise Planner. The cost was $35 per person. We took a 30ish minute boat ride out the reef, and spent about an hour snorkeling. The pros: it's a great value for what you get. By no means the prettiest reef you'll ever see, but the variety of fish was impressive. The cons: it can get really pretty choppy and it's a strong current. I wouldn't recommend this for weak swimmers of those with young children, or if you are sensitive to motion and get motion sick.
  6. https://smart-two.com/en/transportation/orlando-airport/shuttles/port-canaveral/index.html I VERY highly recommend Smart-Two when looking for transportation to and from Port Canaveral.. was started by a couple of guys noticing a trend in people booking rental cars rather than using (very poorly rated) shuttle services. Very professional, right on time, comfortable ride (USB ports, Wifi, and bottled water available), and completely reasonably priced. Round trip for 2 people was $129 total to take us from MCO out to the ship, and they even picked us up from Grills after breakfast on the way back. They also have alternate options available if you are staying at a hotel before/after your cruise.
  7. I've actually been told that changing the card you want to use isn't a big deal
  8. I actually wasn't aware of that one. NEAT!
  9. You can play the mini games once in each neighborhood - I get a "bad request" notification when I switch between them.
  10. It has Cincinnati Bell listed, just not totally sure if we get the channel. I'll have to see if we can find a way to stream it otherwise.
  11. YASSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. If I play too many rounds of the "Ticket to Adventure" game, everything times out and my browser freaks out for a while and I can't access anything Royal Caribbean.
  13. Now THAT would be tasty! Would pair great with a waffle! :p
  14. RCL sites give me issues on Chrome on occasion.. switching to IE (ugh) usually resolves it.
  15. I think that'd be a rum smoothie at that point... I don't drink daiquiris though.
  16. I'm going to need to find an excuse to get in there and try the veggie burger with a side of onion rings...
  17. Even better: Sabor margarita glass

A group of about 4 guys jumped through waves in the ocean (during a storm) to throw us a rope and pull us the rest of the way in. We were all completely soaked and they gave us a full refund. I'd still recommend people try it... just not if there's any rain/significant wind in the forecast. :)

Mine was longer, too... ... I got stuck over the ocean at the bottom though. ;)
  20. I know at least one other member of the board received this email as well - he wasn't pleased. Hoping they let everyone on earlier than later and offer a bit of OBC.
  21. Also - try asking for the shot of the day after dinner. Usually a dessert-type shot served in a Royal Caribbean shot glass you have the option of purchasing. I've heard not ALL ships do this, but we did it on Indy each night after dinner after noticing a tray of yummy looking shots pass our table. If you have the drink package, you can get just the shot and not choose to buy the glass and it'll be included.
  22. "If you text anyone but us we'll throw you overboard." ... I'm not sure I should be a parent.
