  1. I can't pick... I should probably keep cruising and trying out ships. For science.
  2. Not a bad idea... I bet I could make that happen! Looks like about a six hour drive.
  3. *Googles how far away Perrin Brewing is from Cincinnati, OH* I truly hope it is.. that means it's that much closer to my neighborhood, too!
  4. I can't help but wonder if someone is on the job market as a result of that leak...
  5. Nope. Totally normal. Source: What I do. I caught a price drop on my Allure sailing yesterday!
  6. Now THAT is awesome! Fingers crossed I find something with decent hop character on Majesty in a couple weeks!
  7. Yep! Tried several times. I usually just wake up feeling tired the day after but nothing a little coffee can't fix!!
  8. Oh and also these: https://www.amazon.com/Himalaya-PartySmart-Alcohol-Metabolism-Morning/dp/B007HMRJCQ/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1484685413&sr=8-1&keywords=party+smart
  9. We always bring something like that, along with some ibuprofen or Tylenol.
  10. Welcome to the addiction! For me, I always make sure I have a waterproof watch set to the ship's time. As long as you have your (not expired) passport, credit card, ID, and any prescriptions you might need... you're set!
  11. I live in Ohio... I feel your pain :( I need to move to Florida.
  12. I can't wait to try this on Allure ... like probably every day.
  13. YOLO - BOOK IT. :D Or do what I do... book a cruise (maybe after a couple beers...) and just tell your significant other what's happening. ** ** this plan works better if the significant other is also consuming beverages of the alcoholic variety.
  14. I get unreasonably excited for Jai Alai when I'm in Florida. We found cans of White Oak Jai Alai that we enjoyed poolside the day before our cruise on Brilliance back in November and it made for a great afternoon!
  15. No kidding - life is too short for fizzy yellow beer! Super interesting perspective on that, though. So do something similar to what Carnival is doing with the Vista and it's brewery? Definitely agree <3 Lagunitas Sucks, but I'd even settle for the standard Lagunitas IPA or Pale Ale. Even some of the larger non-acquired breweries would be great to see (Stone, Founder's, etc). I drink a lot of La Fin du Monde as well when the ships have it... but that ABV will definitely kick your butt after a bit! Haha! :) I did once find Dogfish Head 90 Minute on Indy but I think I drank their whole supply the first day. :| At the very least... can they have an IPA that isn't a pine-tastic Red Hook?! Gimme Citrus, I'm in the Caribbean! Does Florida Brewing Co. have a tap room? Going in to Port Canaveral the evening before my Majesty cruise and that could be fun to check out. I do enjoy Florida Lager! ... Probably because if I'm drinking that, it means I'm in Florida awaiting embarkation.
  16. +1 on the jet ski ride - it's a really pretty trip and they take you by some islands with an interesting history. I love Coco Cay - I've always had a great time there. Enjoy your cruise!
  17. Every once in a while the Pub will have a small supply of something a little higher-end, but I had to admit I found it hilarious when one of the selections for the Beer Tasting in the Pub on Brilliance was ... Stella. *eyeroll* Especially with so many mega-breweries such as Anheuser-Bush and Heiniken acquiring smaller breweries, it seems like the distribution issue shouldn't be present. Even having a consistent option like Lagunitas (now partially owned by Heiniken) would be a really welcome sight. It seems like Michael's Genuine Pub is headed in the right direction, but I'd love to see this change made within existing pubs.
  18. Or at least, expand their craft beer options at their existing ships with pubs.
  19. Hi my name is Kayla and I live in Ohio which is NO WHERE NEAR A PORT and is COLD.... *tears* ... maybe not the best angle.
  20. I have a couple friends who stay in rooms around here and I've never heard them say anything but good things. It's usually just a little lifeboat, but you do get a pretty big window!
  21. Click on the "Cruise Compass" tab on this site to see any submitted Cruise Compasses.
  22. As soon as a review starts with, "I'm a Emerald/Diamond/Diamond plus member, so..." ... I'm PROOOOBABLY going to ignore it.
  23. I believe premium coffee drinks at Cafe Promenade would be included, as well as coffees in the dining rooms.
