Allure - Excursions are being updated, check back soon
Hotwheels replied to jake1004's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
How far in the future is your cruise? If it's 6+ months, they might yet have those plans in place to offer excursions. Just a thought. -

Pier runners are fun to watch! Cozumel is a great port for that.

How long do you "stay home" pre-cruise?
Hotwheels replied to ChessE4's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I typically stay home anyway. haha! We usually start being more cognizant about a week prior. We take an at-home test, then stay home to keep our negative test, negative. We are all vaccinated (me and my two teenage kiddos), but we are worried about catching covid and not showing any signs. And frankly, we want our vacation! So we are willing to jump through these hoops to make sure we are allowed on board. -

My apologies, a what? Duck Fart? off to google that! ETA: sounds like a good way to not keep that down... -
Scheduling Your Next Cruise Onboard
Hotwheels replied to Ja-sun's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I did this! I wasn't sure which week would be best, so I used the app to "book later". It was only $100/person (so $200) non-refundable deposit and was able to get $150 onboard credit if I actually booked within 30 days (could have been 60 days, now I don't remember). -
My kiddos and I will be on the same sailing! I'll be the zen mother of two teenagers, with a drink package.

I think those rooms are the larger sleeper sofa? meaning the sofa pulls out instead of folds down. At any rate, I'd trust Royal's website.

Symphony of the Seas is disappointing

Thank you, and in my defense, seems the moderator takes a bit to approve. And when I originally tried to post, the OP wasn't gone that long. lol -

As a newbie to this site, I plead to remind you that all my posts/content approved before it's shown. Perhaps OP is in the same boat (no pun intended). -
have you tried calling the C&A number? I seem to have better access when I call them.

The at home proctored tests are so easy. I took my kiddos on a cruise with three days prior in Miami. We did the proctored tests in our Miami hotel room the day before (we took non proctored before we left home, just to be certain). So easy. Yes, it's ~$35/test, but so so easy.

Where would they tender to? The tender dock was removed in the remodel. I thought having Wonder and Freedom was a lot of people two weeks ago. The waterpark was PACKED with long lines. We ended up back on Freedom and the empty pool.
