I paid I got a Grand Suite on the Explorer of the Seas. The one with 2 bedrooms/2 baths. I paid $1,200--flat, not per day. I was given notice about a month before. Probably they had a lot of empty rooms.

This week we are sailing with an amazing Royal Up on the Explorer of the Seas. We booked the large aft balcony. I got the aft Grand Suite (2 rooms/2baths) for only 25% more than my fare. Usually, this category requires minimum of 5 persons. Our family is only 3.
