  1. @Ampurp85 interesting. When we were on Harmony in Feb ‘22 we only ever scanned our cards in Windjammer. Maybe it was because they were on reduced capacity during the covid restart? Good to know about the standby/open seating process. I was able to get reservations to MOST of the shows but the times are not ideal for our family since we’re traveling with 2 under 3. Oh well lessons learned. @jbrinkm 4, 2 children. That’s what I thought but I was unable to reserve many of the shows with even 1 person. It’s unfortunate that they don’t make reservation release dates more widely available. The only thing my 2 year old specifically asked for on this cruise was to see the ice skating show but at 9PM I don’t think he will be able to stay up for it. We will see.
  2. I just noticed today that entertainment was available to book for our 2/24 sailing on Icon. Since we started sailing with Royal (Feb 22) this hasn’t been a pre-boarding day thing & even then reservations didn’t really mean anything since nobody ever checked. This may be important because every time I try to book something it says “Not enough room for your party”. Is every show on Icon really expected to be fully reserved pre-cruise? Seems wild that the Wizard of Oz would be fully booked for nearly every showing. Isn’t the main theater 2,000+ capacity?!
  3. We just got of Harmony on 2/27 & it was honestly the best vacation we’ve ever been on. We were told the passenger count was “just under 4,000” which is apparently the current limit. I suspect this was because of the unique itinerary (Labadee + Coco Cay) as everyone said most sailings had about 3k. The ship very rarely felt busy. To answer your question, everything was operational with a few weird exceptions. *Everything had unusual/inconsistent open times. For example in the middle of a sea day the ultimate abyss would be closed. Same for rock walls, zip line, flow rider, ice cream stations, shops, etc… maybe this was normal. It was our first cruise with RCCL. *Nursery was limited in capacity so you could only book 10 hrs initially. Extra times would open up later but you had to constantly call or drop in. Made it more difficult to plan *Water features in the kids splash zone we’re turned off at various times during the cruise even if the area was open. Maybe there were technical difficulties, maybe they were trying to limit interest *Some of the pools were closed at times when others were open. Again, maybe there was a reason for this but it happened on more than one occasion. Just seemed odd.
  4. We just finished our cruise on Harmony on 2/27. We were told that it was the busiest of the season with just under 4,000 which is apparently their limit at the moment. I think the increased number for this cruise may have been due to the unique itinerary (Labadee + Coco Cay). Everyone we talked to said the numbers have been ~3k. Even with 4k it rarely felt busy. We spent several nights at dinner in Central Park as the only ones on the terrace & during dinner at windjammer on 2 nights we had the back of the restaurant to ourselves. It was pretty fantastic. I hope you have a blast. We sure did!
