KDK reacted to JennaRCB in Greek Isles Excursion Suggestions?
I went on a similar itinerary last summer! I wrote a blog every day about what I did which may be helpful: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/category/category/rhapsody-of-the-seas-live-blog

KDK reacted to MaryS in Greek Isles Excursion Suggestions?
In Athens this past September my sister and I did a Royal excursion "Acropolis Sightseeing, New Acropolis Museum with Plaka Free Time". It was an all day trip around 7 hours but I thought it was well worth it. In Mykonos we did the another Royal excursion the "Delos tour" (an island off Mykonos with more ruins) which was okay then we were dropped off right in the middle of town in Mykonos and wandered around and I finally got my greek pastry. We were on Odyssey and the ship was docked so we took the water taxi back to where the ship was.

You really don't need an excursion in Mykonos. It is a great port just to wander around the tiny little streets and soaking up the atmosphere. You can wander up to the famous windmills too.
Depending on what ship you're on, you might dock at the new port, in which case it's a €2 per person each way trip on the water taxi to get into town, or you could be anchored, in which case there will be tenders to take you right into town.

KDK got a reaction from asquared17 in The Future of Cruise Priceing
I think you raise an important point, I traveled on an Oceania trip to the Baltics in the summer of 2019. At the price point listed for Oceania in the article, we also had included: the equivalent of a refreshment beverage package, some excursions, 24 hour room service, a very elevated main dining room menu: duck, lobster, etc., internet included, afternoon tea service every day, lectures with professionals in the field almost every day, and an impressive library with all of the newest NYT bestsellers. It is a very different experience.
FWIW, I enjoy both types of cruising, but I don't think they are a fair comparison with one another.

You can bring up to 12 bottles in total per room of beverages up to 17oz. That mean 12 bottles of water and nothing else but 1 wine per guest. However ymmv as I have seen people with a 24pk go through security.

KDK reacted to KimV007 in Need Help
We just got back from our cruise and NO noise was experienced at any time in our room or balcony from the activities above us. We had a wonderful time, so I wanted to make sure i responded to my original post in case anyone else has a concern in this regards to the room location.

You are reimbursed. The OBC is usually back in your Cruise Planner immediately after cancellation.

KDK reacted to Xaa in RC App Information Issues
If you add the water to your cart does it extend to a per day calculation? I'm guessing that it will charge correctly.

KDK reacted to CanHardlyWait in RC App Information Issues
Use website not app when ordering. Still might be messed up, but app 100% is no good for ordering.

KDK reacted to ScottD in Main Dining Room Breakfast Menu
A good hint is 1. check an earlier cruise like @Poochmentioned above, also- click on MDR 5 if you don't see menus, for some reason they always seem to show up under MDR5 on the app

KDK reacted to RafaellaCG in Does RC Ever Add an Additional Section of a Popular Excursion?
You really don't need an excursion- Athens is very easy to explore on your own or with a 3rd party excursion. What are you interested in doing? We were there last August.

Everyone over 6 in your room will need to purchase the Key and everyone will receive voom internet for one device, so no need to purchase internet separately.

Breakfast menu is the same every day. MDR can work with you to address dietary needs. They have dedicated stations to help prevent cross contamination for anyone with celiac disease.

KDK reacted to barjpoe in Main Dining Room Breakfast Menu
remember on sea days the MDR offers brunch. A combination of both; some of the breakfast items and some lunch items. You should also contact Royal through the special needs/request link about the allergy and then when you get on the ship head right to the dinning room to make sure request has been noted. They may also let you see a menu for the evening and have you select items you'd like and they should show you the next night's menu for you to do the same.

KDK reacted to Pooch in Main Dining Room Breakfast Menu
Switch to a cruise coming up sooner on the same ship.
Click on the little torso on the home page
Select a different cruise
browse our ships
also check all 3 dining rooms. Sometimes only 1 shows menus but it’s the same for all of them

KDK reacted to amanalo217 in Main Dining Room Breakfast Menu
You can see the MDR menus in the app. Go to dining and select main dining. Pick one of the dining rooms and select menu. Go to any day except 1 and you should be able to view the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.

KDK reacted to Ryan79 in Does RC Ever Add an Additional Section of a Popular Excursion?
That’s not something RC controls directly. The excursions are all ran through (with CoCo Cay and Lebadee being exceptions) 3rd parties. RC cannot offer or open up anything that a 3rd party vendor cannot provide if they are already at capacity.

KDK got a reaction from SemperMom in What are some things onboard the ship that just make you cringe?
Having just gotten up the courage, after much support from my teenaged daughters, to actually be brave enough to show my cancer scars in a bathing suit on my upcoming cruise, I'm just crossing my fingers that I don't show up as a "cringe-worthy" line item on this lovely list.
