Given RCI’s policy for those who have traveled to China, how did these people get on board? I thought that RCI was denying boarding to anyone who’d been to China in the 15 days prior to boarding.

My passport is on my person while ashore outside the US.

Never even got one for reaching Emerald, but I wouldn't wear it. To be honest, I sort of chuckle at the pinnacles wearing nametags.

I booked onboard recently. My TA almost immediately found me a much better deal for the same room and I rebooked the next day. Had to pay the higher deposit, but ended up much better off.

RCI really missed the boat here IMO. Personally, I buy a soda package when freestyle machines are present and I skip it when they aren’t.

Internet has been so bad on Explorer this week. The idea that one could stream videos is laughable. “The fastest internet at sea”? ?

I went to Port Everglades once with a Lyft driver. When we got to the security gate, the guard asked to check my passport and my wife's, and then asked to see the driver's license. No problem right? Well, one problem, actually. The Lyft driver didn't have a license on her! We had to pull over and explain the situation to a sheriff's deputy before we were allowed in. (For the record, I didn't rate that a 5-star ride)

THIS! I always see people with a roller bag per person on embarkation day. Your cruise carry on doesn't have to be your plane carry on. Give that to the porter with your big bags and use a backpack or two instead. Much easier to deal with.

It's really too bad they aren't rolling them out more widely. I'm sure they're expensive, but I'm also sure they drive revenue. Without a Coke Freestyle machine, I probably choose not to get a drink package.

Took a cruise on Oasis last summer and really enjoyed the Coke Freestyle machines...helped to make the drink package worthwhile for me. I understand the machines are only on a handful of ships at the moment. Anyone know when they might be rolling out to more ships? I'm especially interested in Radiance of the Seas, which I'll be on in July. :D
