Just discovered today that you can look up excursions offered by Royal through the Royal app. You select on the person at the top of the screen, then choose select a different cruise, then on the next screen choose browse our ships. Choose the ship and the date you plan to cruise and you will find shore excursions for each port the ship visits.

I had the beverage package on my last cruise and was charged for a bottle of wine that I did not purchase. Royal removed the charge from my account with no issues.

I haven’t bought the drink package since they started requiring both people per stateroom to have it. Wife may have half dozen cocktails per cruise. Can’t justify even with the discount. Royal should consider one price per stateroom and it should be less than 75% of the cost for two it charges now. Maybe $100/day. They would still make money, especially on the cruises with almost one port per day.

My wife and I really enjoy cruises that have good talent in the music department, especially in the Schooner Bar. The last cruise we were on (pre-Covid on Oasis) had a young man from one of the Islands in the Schooner, and he could play and sing anything. The place was packed every time he sat down to play. Made those dead times before and after dinner much more enjoyable.
