We too will have our first Platinum cruise this July so I am anxious to see what we both find out!

I was hoping we could take small snacks for the Grand-girls. I was thinking about some individually wrapped string cheese and keep in the mini-frig.

That is why we are doing it on Hubby's phone as we own our own business and he will need to be reachable just in case. I got VOOM 2-device also, but my 2 Granddaughters will be using it too! I was under the impression that once the 24-hour period starts, you can use it on the ship also.

AT&T does have a package as my hubby uses for work. If you use your phone while on shore then it is a flat charge for a 24 hour period starting with the first call. I think it is $10.99 or something like that. Note, our cell phones are a business account and that may be different.

I just saw that the Oasis will be the perfect viewing of the Total Eclipse on August 20th! Sweet...to bad it wasn't happening during the 3rd week of July so that I could enjoy that!

I read in the special needs section that if they need a patch of grass then let them know.

What time should be want to disembark? We have a late flight (5:30 pm) and we have a rental vehicle to pick up. I would like to not stand in a long line. Also, what time do we have to be out of our cabin?

I understand that the Freestyle Soda machine is Coke products. Do you know if Dasani Water is available on that machine too? Dasani is a Coke product and my youngest Granddaughter (Age 9) drinks mostly plain water. I got her the drink package as she would be the only one is our group of 9 that wouldn't have the "cute" cup and did not want to hear about that for 7 days

I got em now I just have to cut them and "install" them in those little plastic holders!

I ordered the RCI luggage tags from Amazon as some of you suggested. I just got my email this past weekend that I am ready to do my on line check in and print my luggage tags. My tags say "Platinum" on them We are flying down the day before, so (as suggested) I will just put them in my carry on and put them on the next morning before heading to the port.

Oh this will be perfectly for us!

It says 8 on the website; however, we won't all be in there at the same time so RCI said that won't be a problem. Hopefully that's true!

We have a cabana reserved in Labadee and it said that a will ride over to it. There are 9 of us so can we all ride at the same time?

I have been reading on CC where so many have been charged a mini bar fee post cruise when they mini bar stayed empty. Any experience of this happening on the Oasis? I will have them empty the contents (if there is any) when we get in there but I'm not sure if that matters.

Do the sofa beds on Oasis (D3-12586 Superior Oceanview Balcony) have a trundle also?

I like having the prepaid gratuities; however, we like to give more as warranted. We aren't big drinkers, but we like to give a little extra in the beginning to our cabin steward and also the dining service and their assistant too. That goes a long way to keeping top notch service then we add extra at the end also. This small gesture as never failed us yet.

Do we have to sign out our towels for excursions or will they hand them out when you leave for the excursion? They used to hand them out as we got off the ship but I haven't cruised in several years and I'm guessing that this has now changed.

Well, I guess that leave me out this trip as we are on the Oasis (Port Canaveral)!

Do any of you use the Passport App on your phone? I have a friend that just returned from the Allure a couple of weeks ago and she used it. They were in a long line to disembark when a crew member discovered that they had the app, they got moved over to a short line and it was very quick and simple. I did download the app called "Mobile Pass"; however, I haven't entered in any data yet. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with using this app.
