So, I had a dream last night that my kitchen looked just like a kitchen on a cruise ship and there were dozens of cooks preparing my breakfast.  What a dream, I was sooooooo happy.   Then I woke up and went to my kitchen and reality set in:

And, I'm expected to get out of bed before 11:00 AM.  What a bunch of B.S.
Hey Royal Caribbean, let's play, "Let's Make a Deal".  I'll sign everything I own over to you if you let my wife and I cruise Star Class for the remainder of our days.

What ever floats your boat.  Hahahahahah, get it!  No really, life is about choices and you made the one you want, at the time you want it, for the reasons you want.  Good 4 ya!

I read an article, don't remember if it was in the actual CDC website or written by a CDC official.  But, as far as MOST Caribbean Countries are concerned, that countries don't have a CDC type department that is capable of it's own research and public safety decisions.  So, the mirror what the U.S. CDC does/says/declares.  So, I wouldn't think it is going to be long before the majority of the smaller Caribbean countries start changing their protocols to mirror ours. Especially if enough of the Cruise Lines threaten them with going elsewhere if they don't change.  Many Caribbean Countries, their economy is totally dependent on tourism of which cruses are a major part of.   So, stay tuned and watch as the dominos start to fall.

I'm sure you are right.  BUT, if it is important enough for me to seriously complain about something, I will send a written letter, certified.  I have a great friend that I grew up with who is a retired police chief and mayor of a city.  He once (many years ago) told me what he does.  That's find out the name if the CEO, and Corp address, don't ask or be demanding of anything, be somewhat humble.  Personalize the letter by addressing the envelope directly to him/her and in the salutation.  I took his advice and it has always worked for me, both in Military life and as a civilian, except for Brand X Cruise Lines.

Got to Facebook, which I don't visit anymore, and type in John Heald.  He is, or at least was the Brand Ambassador or Brand X Cruise Lines.  I think he does a great job for Brand X but, Brand X shoot themselves in the foot, way to often.  But, that's a whole different thing.

As the others have said no irons are allowed period. It's not a matter of electrical draw or space or greed it's a matter of a potential fire hazard.
I would recommend Downy Wrinkle Release spray (which comes in travel size). I've not yet met a fabric it doesn't work on and it leaves the clothes smelling nice too.
Second option is to use the steam of your showers to loosen up wrinkles but I find this works best if the clothes are in the shower which is risky if you're washing up at the same time.

I would like to see both restrictions gone...  The Vax  shot is reportedly good for minimizing the consequences of getting the virus, but don't think it prevents the shot-ee from getting it (obviously, based on people getting it on cruises)....  I know from a business perspective, having shot-ed passengers keeps Cruise Lines out of the news (in case of unfortunate post-cruise tragedies)...   but really, I'm not sure it's not just Optics at this point with the shots.  (full disclosure, I'm 4x shotted).

Do you test yourself before you fly or before you go the Disney World or before you walk into a concert or your stay t your hotel. No! Wouldn't you want to know if you were contagious? The reality is No no one tests these days for it. Only cruising is being harassed and its absurd! We should not have to test to get on a boat!  if you don't have to test to get in a tiny airplane and sit like sardines for a few hours with recirculated air. We should not have to test to go on a cruise.

If I am feeling healthy, not really.
I never used to test myself for any other diseases/illnesses just to see if I had them, not sure why I would want to with this one going forward.

I have always been Loyal to Royal, but I'm going with the first line to drop the vaccine and testing mandates, no second thoughts. I'll come back to Royal when they do, but I'd rather cruise on any line that just lets me cruise without the stress. That said I do think they all end at the same time, all the lines.

Moby Dick reacted to Rackham in Starlink Internet could be coming to Royal Caribbean
It probably has something to do with the current constellation size, how many subscribers each satellite can handle, and the links between satellites and the ground. By keeping subscriptions limited to rural areas, Starlink reduces the amount of users per satellite, so service quality stays higher per subscriber, and basically gets their customers to test their network over a larger area.

My first Oasis Class cruise was on the Oasis, it was also my first Royal cruise.  After being loyal to Brand X for many years and some major disappointments with them, we decided to move on and try something different.  Up until then, the largest ship we have been on was, I believe, the Freedom or Dream of Brand X.
Well, we walked on Oasis into the Promenade and just couldn't believe our eyes.  I just couldn't believe how big it was, massive and the décor, lighting and ambiance was fantastic.  It really didn't hit home, how big it was until we had to walk from our suite, Aqua Theater Suite, which is at the very very aft of the ship, to the theater, which is at the very forward of the ship.  It seemed like I should have called for a Uber.  Now, none of this is negative, just the opposite.  I truly love Oasis Class ships.
I was just looking at some of my videos of my whole family entering the Oasis and the looks of my daughter, her husband, and our Grandkids was absolutely amazing and a treat to watch how happy they were.  Their eyes just got so big, their mouths dropped, their faces just glowed with joy and anticipated excitement.  I just wish I was a better word smith to express how it made me feel.  This is why I'm so loyal to Royal.  Yes, there are issues.  But, trivial compared to the joy we all experience while ON THE SHIPS.
