My fiancee and I are going on a cruise for our honeymoon in January. We're on Brilliance out of Tampa. He's only been once, this is my first time, so I'm doing all of the research to get prepared and ready. How does parking work? We are within driving distance, so we're going to drive down the night before we embark to stay with friends in Orlando, then head over to Tampa in the morning to head to port. I know that currently RC is doing "check-in times", but how long does is typically take to get through that? How much time should we budget? Any recommendations on specific things to make sure we have in our carry on bags (i.e. swimsuit, the approved size bottles of wine) that we should not leave in our checked luggage?

My fiance and I are likely going to do a cruise for our honeymoon next January. We are looking at the 5 night Western Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas, leaving from Tampa and stopping in Cozumel and George Town in January 2023. I have never been on a cruise before and he's been on one once, about 15 years ago with his family, and it was a Carnival cruise. Any tips, advice, recommendations for booking, activities, etc? We are going to splurge a little bit so we're looking at a balcony ocean view room. Should we go front, middle or back of the ship? I like quiet, so I don't mind being a bit of a walk from anything. We are trying to decide if we want to spend money on the more adventurous excursions or just hang out at the beach, but we're unsure of the weather/water temps that time of year. Also, is the drink package worth it? We are very much social drinkers, but we aren't heavy drinkers, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it, especially on port days.
